Celebrities Wear Bright Party Outfits In London

The brights are back! There’s something about wearing yellow or white in summer that makes me feel just a little bit happier. Also, every time I’ve worn something bold I get tons of compliments and it’s a real conversation starter.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t wearing yellow last night to the launch of celeb chef Gizzi Erskine’s cookery book in London but I could admire the celebrities that were…and take some inspiration.

Caroline Flack

I’m so glad Caroline’s back on our screens soon as X Factor co-host as she always looks stylish without trying too hard. She said she does try to eat healthy to maintain her figure and she does it by planning in advance and cooking on a Monday, when she has a day off. So sensible! She’s able to get away with this small yellow skirt as she follows the rule of showing off your legs or cleavage but not both.

Rosie Fortescue, Made in Chelsea

Rosie’s just got back from filming Made in Chelsea in Hollywood, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at her pale complexion would you? Still, it means her skin is flawless and she’ll never get sun damage wrinkles. I love how the white dress makes her look like an English rose and to continue the rose effect she has red shoes too. What do you think?

Millie Mackintosh

Rosie’s Made in Chelea’s gal pal Millie (to the left of Rosie in the pic above) has a much better tan, which she showed off in a short light blue tea dress. This is from Istanbul and Ibiza, where she’s been hanging out with her musician husband Professor Green. Don’t listen to rumours they’re on the rocks -she’s happy with married life.

Zara Martin (in the floral dress on the left) designed a range of headphones and singer Jade Williams on the far right in the adorable double denim sang at the launch.

Diana Vickers

It was a busy night for Diana, who attended both the cook book party and the headphones launch. However, the yellow dress ensured she stayed looking fresh even if she didn’t feel it.

Ella Eyre

Ella Eyre went for a monochrome outfit, which still looks sharp. A white blouse is a wardrobe staple at this time of year. This time last year I’d never heard of Ella Eyre but with her ‘Beyonce-esque’ image and diva tunes she’s carving out a great career for herself. She’s performing at the V festival next and I can’t wait to see what she wears.

Who do you think looked best in their bright outfit?
