Style Steal: Victoria’s Secret Models’ Paris Fashion Week Looks

Paris Fashion Week is the most flamboyant of them all with dreamy, floaty maxi dresses offsetting edgy mesh fabric bodysuits. It’s all about the drama! And the look is kept up 24/ 7 – even when the models aren’t on the catwalks. They can’t afford to spoil the illusion!

Victoria’s Secret Models Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio are perfect examples of this. They turned heads as they arrived to get ready for the Balmain show. This is how models do casual wear:

Doutzen’s look (below) makes use of one of the key pieces for Autumn – the military jacket. There’s a couple at Very but the most popular and most eye catching is the V by by Very military jacket. It’s the ideal length to wear with a pair of super skinny jeans as it falls to just above the waist to make your legs look longer. The V by Very Addison super skinny jeans would work well for this look. But no supermodel could be seen without accessories. It’s the caged sandals that make this outfit super glamorous and Doutzen’s shoes are very similar to the Carvela metal trim gold caged sandals. Top with the Michael Kors oversized sunglasses for the ultimate in off duty cool.

Now let’s have a closer look at Alessandra. Her outfit is lighter to make the most of her sunkissed summer skin but it’s appropriate for Autumn as the jacket protests against the chill.

To follow in her stylish footsteps, start with a great pair of skinny jeans. The V by Very bodyshaping skinny jeans help you to get that supermodel shape without even trying making legs look slimmer and leaner. They’re also a good colour match to Alessandra’s pair. Talking of colour, notice that she’s matched  her shoes to her jacket and you can do the same with the Carvela kestral point toe high heels and the V by Very lace bomber jacket which has a fabulous texture. It’s the texture that makes Alessandra’s jacket stand out – Autumn is a time to indulge in fabrics.

Which of the supermodel looks do you prefer?
