MTV EMA Awards 2016: Top 7 Stunning Celeb Looks

Every year, the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) get bigger and better and now they’re in their 22nd year, it’s one slick operation. This year they took place in Rotterdam in Holland and acts from around the world made the quaint city go wild. From singers like Bebe Rexha and Zara Larsson to TV presenters like Laura Whitmore, reality stars like Charlotte Crosby and models like Jourdan Dunn, the event attracts more stars than any other award ceremony in recent months. It’s massive!

To win an MTV award is a huge honour as everyone’s heard of MTV and for most stars, winning this award has been a childhood dream. But even the stars that went home empty -handed had a chance to win on the fashion front. The red carpet gave everyone the chance to grab attention, hopefully for the right reasons. These 7 stunning celebs did it better than the rest:

(1) Bebe Rexha

Bebe was the hostess with the most-est as she set the tone perfectly in a black maxi dress with gorgeous thigh-high split. Some music industry execs were sceptical that a young star like Bebe would be able to host such a key night but she proved everyone wrong as she made the night fun, entertaining and very humorous, earning herself  a flock of new fans in the process.

(2) Zara Larsson

The Swedish singer performed a fabulous medley of Lush Life and Aint My Fault at the awards, giving them her all. It was incredible to watch and Zara made sure that all eyes were watching her when she walked down the red carpet. A white dress is impossible to miss and the lace detail makes it even more eye-catching.

(3) Jourdan Dunn

The British supermodel wowed in a black sequin dress, showing that us Brits know how to do fashion on a world stage. It’s sleek, streamlined and a simple shape and she wears it well as with a dress like that you don’t need any accessories – the sequins shine in their own right.

(4) Laura Whitmore

Laura showed off her long legs in a wine coloured mini dress, which really suited her complexion. Dark reds (and dark greens) warm up the skin, making you look lovely and tanned. Her black platform sandals help lengthen her legs even more but they’re easy to walk in as they support your feet. Chunky heels are the way forward if you want to end the night as glam as you started it.

(5) Nina Dobrev

The Vampire Diaries actress looked chic and sophisticated in a lavender purple maxi dress. We rarely see this colour so she stood out and it did complement her hair colour. Sometimes it’s worth taking a risk and doing something different and if it works like Nina’s dress did, everyone will wish they tried it first.

(6) Winnie Harlow

Like Jourdan, model Winnie Harlow also wore a sequin dress. The fashion world clearly know that this is the time of year to wear sequins. Her mini dress is so Christmassy with its green, red and gold tones – doesn’t she look fab?

(7) Charlotte Crosby

The Geordie Shore star looked super elegant and a world apart from her alter ego on the MTV reality show. Forget what she does on the show as she looks like sweet, innocent and feminine in this black midi dress. It shows that you can put your reputation behind you in the right dress. We could all wear something completely different to our usual style and shock all our friends for the right reasons at the next night out. What do you think?
