Although it’s cold at this time of year, it can be nice to put on some warm and cosy layers and enjoy a picturesque and frosty winter’s evening. Ice-skating, or watching professional skaters put on a show, is a magical thing to do at this time of year. When the atmosphere is beautiful, you’ll be too in awe to think about the cold.
The Disney on Ice show, which is currently at London’s O2 Arena, is non-stop entertainment for adults and children, but you still need to dress up for the cold. On the first night, the celebs came out in their jumpers, blazers and trousers to meet the Disney characters from Frozen and Mickey Mouse.
If you’re planning on going ice-skating or for a night that involves being outside, then we can take a look at some of the celebrities for cosy dressing.
Billie showed that dressing up for winter doesn’t have to mean sacrificing on style or fit. Her little grey jumper perfectly shows off her neat baby bump while leather trousers are perfect for dressing up in chilly times, especially when worn with ankle boots. She looks so happy and part of that comes from picking the right outfit for an occasion.
Katie’s wearing a lovely long sleeve lace top to meet Mickey Mouse, which is warmer than you think when worn with trousers. It’s got a high neck and long sleeves so it keeps the heat in, but she still looks like she’s made an effort. If you are going to a party on a really cold night then lace is your secret weapon.

The host of Good Morning Britain dazzled in sequin leggings that would get any party started. If you’re wearing a top like that then you need to wear them with a plain black top and a black blazer as you don’t want anything to detract from those trousers – you have to wear them with pride. If they don’t keep you warm, then you’ll definitely get a warm glow from all the compliments you get.
Are you looking forward to Winter more now? No matter what, it’s an excuse to dress up…
