CinemaCon: Celebrity Outfit Inspiration

CinemaCon is the largest and most important gathering for the film industry. Taking place in a giant convention centre in Las Vegas, it’s not as glamorous as one of the film festivals of Cannes, Venice or Toronto, but it’s where the deals are done and networking takes place on a grand scale.

It’s always very star studded as all the major film studios attend to promote their upcoming releases and they take the actors and actresses of those films along for Q&As on stage. It’s one never ending procession of glamorous celeb after glamorous celeb – there’s always a lot for us to look at! Even better is that it’s a daytime event so the celebs wear gorgeous day outfits that we can see ourselves wearing for a special occasion this spring. Going to the races? Got a wedding coming up? Or just want a smarter, more sophisticated look for work?  Check out these 8 amazing celeb looks at CinemaCon.

Mila Kunis

Mila managed to look smart but also super comfortable in black separates with cropped black trousers and a sleeveless black top. She looks businesslike but also stylish as the outfit fits her beautifully. By tucking her top into her trousers she highlights her slim waist. This is an outfit that you would feel not only comfortable in but confident in as you’d look fantastic for any eventuality.

Kirsten Dunst

Spring is the season for florals and Kirsten Dunst showed off her tanned legs in a beautiful floral mini dress. The colour is so light, fresh and feminine, you just look at it and feel more cheerful. And for the wearer, the light colours brighten up skin tones meaning you’ll look healthy and alert and more tanned. This dress would be perfect for a spring / summer wedding.

Cara Delevingne

She’s new at acting, but if she acts as well as she dresses, a big star is in the making! Cara dazzled in a bright red blouse with a leather skirt, making a bold entrance onto the stage. This might not be a look you’d wear to the office but it’d turn heads on a night out at a cocktail bar as it’s a cool and strong look with a feminine edge.

Charlize Theron

The South African actress also wore a floral dress, but her purple dress was much brighter. It’s a gorgeous colour on her and would suit blondes or brunettes. Again, this would be ideal to wear as a wedding guest as it’s light and will keep you cool during the service while helping you to stand out and have some fun on the dancefloor. Also, purple isn’t that popular a colour so you wouldn’t be in danger of another guest wearing something similar to you.

Naomi Watts

Naomi looked very elegant and chic in a smart blue midi dress. The shape is very conservative but it has a playful edge thanks to the colour and the stripes. This would be good for the workplace as you’ll impress your boss without compromising on expressing your personality. What do you think?

Maria Menounos

The E! News presenter always dresses to make sure we notice her just as much as the celebs she talks about and how can we fail to do that when she wears things as fabulous as this one shoulder white jumpsuit? The colour is absolutely dazzling against her tanned skin and the one shoulder detail makes it that little bit different so we want to look twice.

Jessica Chastain

Polka dots are starting to make a comeback this season. Emma Stone’s worn them, Alexa Chungs got involved and now Jessica is the latest to get the polka dot look. Her midi dress is really fun and quirky, especially with the statement yellow heels!

Laura Haddock

Transformers: The Last Knight will be Laura’s first film since having a baby and she was every inch the yummy mummy in a black lace dress. The lace detail is so pretty that our eyes are drawn upwards so we don’t notice any bits she wants to hide. Also, black is a flattering colour to wear and it looks like she has a very sleek silhouette. It’s always lovely to see a British actress holding her own in Hollywood in both the acting and the style stakes.
