Celebrity Steal Style: Lady Gaga

As Lady Gaga prepares to celebrate her 30th birthday, we can’t help but notice that her style is evolving. While she still puts on a show when she’s on stage, gone are the Kermit the Frog dresses and outfits made from meat. In their place are sophisticated and elegant smart-casual outfits and glamorous gowns for night.

Gaga has never looked better and as she prepares to take over from Beyonce as the headliner of the Coachella festival – the first ever female headliner – she’s also in great shape. It’s inspiring to see that whatever your style history, you can turn things around and re-invent yourself.

Here are a couple of ways to copy her new look:

Lady Gaga by day

Gaga looked super chic in a luxe jumper and jeans as she went for a pre-birthday lunch in LA. The simplicity of this look is what makes it stylish and she looks effortlessly cool. All the elements in this outfit are well-made and fit her perfectly, which is why the look comes together so well. We can achieve it by starting with the V by Very Addison high-waisted super skinny jeans and a soft jumper like the V by Very crew neck jumper. Jeans with heels always look amazing and the V by Very Melanie pointed court shoes are especially glamorous – great for day or night. Finish the look with the Dune Dempsey large tote bag and you have an outfit ideal for a weekend on which you want to impress.

Lady Gaga by night

When Lady Gaga presented an award at the British Fashion Awards last year, photographers made her pose on the red carpet for almost an hour as everyone was so blown away by how fabulous she looked. The strappy neck detail of her black maxi dress gave it an extra edge, especially as the rest of the dress was so floaty. It’s very similar to the Rochelle Humes ribbon tie front maxi dress. For this look, all you need is some simple strappy sandals like the V by Very Bella ankle strap minimal heeled sandals to make a confident arrival. You’ll walk tall and feel proud of yourself in an outfit like this.

What do you think of Gaga’s more glam style?

We Day Celebration: Best Dressed Celebs

We Day is an annual event to encourage more people to volunteer for local communities, with the goal to make people shift from a ‘me’ mentality to a ‘we’ mentality. And a great way to draw attention to the cause was to have a gig at Wembley Arena – there’s a reason why the word ‘fun’ is in fundraising!

With performances from Jessie J and Fleur East, a motivational speech from Kate Winslet and some super cool hosts in radio presenters Yasmin Evans and Becca D, the event was truly inspirational. Everyone dressed up for the occasion to show they cared about the cause. Let’s have a closer look at how they all did this:

Jessie J

Jessie has kept a low profile for a while but made a glamorous entrance back onto the scene with beautiful bootcut trousers and a crop top. Jessie’s always had great abs so she shows them off as she knows people are envious of them. If you’ve got it, flaunt it!

Becca D

She’s a host on Hoxton radio, but she’s destined for TV and she’s so fun and has a fabulous sense of style. She turned heads all night long in her printed jumpsuit but she made sure she was able to run around the stage by wearing flat ankle boots. Clever!

Fleur East

Fleur dressed conservatively as she arrived at the event in a white shirt dress – she was dressing as if she meant business. The red heels and the red lipstick keep the look young and fresh – this could be a lovely outfit for the office as it’s smart but it shows the wearer’s personality.

Kate Winslet

Kate dressed to match the theme of the night in a comfortable grey t-shirt. This shows she’s confident enough to get on stage and be recognised for what she’s talking about rather than what she’s wearing. She’s actually really humorous!

Paula Abdul

The singer, songwriter and talent show judge looked ready for spring in a floral playsuit. The colours are bright and pretty and the cold shoulder detail is on trend this season. What do you think?

Radio 1Xtra’s Yasmin Evans

Yasmin looked like she was ready for a film premiere in a striking dark yellow jumpsuit. The yellow makes it eye-catching but the stripes give it a smart but edgy look so it doesn’t look as if you’re trying to hard. She knows her own sense of style just as much as she knows her music.

Six Inspiring Celebrity Yummy Mummies

Mother’s Day is very much a family day as most mums value time with their kids more than any gifts or presents. For the stars it’s the same as they’re often on film sets or on a music promotional tour and don’t always get to spend as much time with their offspring as they’d like. When they do have down time, they dress fashionably but practically so they can actually do things with their families.

Therefore, in honour of Mother’s Day, let’s take a look at six of the most stylish yummy celeb mummies. They’re fantastic inspiration for what to wear on family occasions when you’re doing activities but you want to look as glam as you can.

Kate Hudson

Sporty mummy Kate looked ready for spring in pastel blue linen trousers with a neutral beige top. The trousers are loose fitting and comfortable to keep you cool no matter how much you have to run around and you could dress these up for night by wearing with sandals instead of flats and changing into more of a party top. This look is effortless glamour!

Beyonce

Soon to be a mum of three, Beyonce has stuck to her style throughout motherhood and always looks fabulous. Skinny jeans and a white shirt may be a classic choice for a family day out but Beyonce gives her outfit more attitude with her black ankle boots, round sunglasses and statement jewellery. Sometimes it’s all about the accessories…

Kim Kardashian

This is one of Kim’s more practical outfits, which she wore for a day of fashion shows in New York. A shirt dress is easy to wear and is also very flattering as they feature a belt which highlights a slim waist and shows off your curves. A shirt dress with ankle boots is comfortable without being dowdy and wearing something like this will give you confidence that you look amazing, even when you’re doing something really normal.

Mila Kunis

Mum-of-two Mila shows how a black maxi dress can be a flattering choice of day-wear. She doesn’t have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions, the fabric feels loose and light next to her skin and she can accessorise it to dress it up more if needs be. What do you think?

Jessica Alba

If you’re planning a family lunch or afternoon tea on Mother’s Day, Jessica showed off the ideal outfit on the Jimmy Kimmel TV show. This outfit is sophisticated and elegant but still shows you have a personality. A pencil skirt gives you a gorgeous hourglass shape and when you have a gorgeous bottle green colour like this, all you need is a black top.

Jennifer Lopez

JLo has twins and yet she still looks young and fresh. Light blue skinny jeans are ideal for spring and she keeps things bright and breezy with a white blouse and a white blazer. The red boots add a diva vibe!

TV And Radio Stars Wow at The TRIC Awards

TRIC stands for TV and Radio Industries Club and the annual awards ceremony is a big deal as the stars vote for their peers. To know that other people in the same industry think you are doing a great job is a huge honour!

The awards ceremony may take place during the day in London’s five-star Grosvenor House Hotel, but the dress code is more suited to night-time glamour. It’s less formal than the BAFTAs or the Oscars, but there are a lot of pretty party dresses, which is more practical for the rest of us to copy as there are a lot more occasions to wear party clothes than there are formal maxi dresses.

Soap stars, TV presenters and reality TV contestants all showed up to the awards do so there was plenty of glamour and inspiration. Let’s have a closer look at who wore what before moving onto who won what:

Holly Willoughby

Holly won three awards – TV personality, one for This Morning and one for Celebrity Juice – and looked gorgeous as she collected them in a monochrome prom dress with a full skirt. It’s very flattering as it showcased her small waist before flowing out to show off her curves. It’s not a complicated dress in terms of embellishment but it’s a fabulous fit and shape.

Vicky Pattinson

Vicky went for a 1920s style vintage beige maxi dress and looked girly and elegant. The cream colour complemented her tan while the colour detail lifted the look and made it more cheerful. She looked like an old-fashioned Hollywood movie starlet rather than someone who used to be on Geordie Shore, she’s doing well!

Kym Marsh

The Coronation Street star may have lost out to Eastenders but she had a winning outfit on with her white midi dress and pretty beige court shoes. If you have legs likes hers, you just have to get them out don’t you? Also, as we are starting to see more sunny weather and spring is coming, now is the time to wear white.

Ferne McCann

Ferne’s been popping up on several TV shows since her successful stint in the I’m A Celeb jungle so she’s feeling confident. You can tell this by what she’s wearing as a dress with fringe detail is a brave choice. She totally pulls it off as she walks with attitude. The strappy black heeled sandals finish off the look perfectly, giving her extra height and more reason to feel fabulous when she walks into the room.

Megan McKenna

She knew that she was going to be in the same building as her ex Pete Wicks, so Megan had to look (and act) strong. If you feel the part, you can be braver and walk around with more attitude. Megan did just that in a black suit with black heeled sandals. What do you think?

Faye Brookes

The Coronation Street actress turned heads in a floral multi-colour maxi dress. It’s floaty, feminine and full of the joys of spring. If you want to get attention without flashing too much flesh, this is a classy way to do it.

Emma Bunton

Emma looked bold and beautiful in a multi-coloured jumpsuit and she must be doing something right as she won two awards – best radio presenter and one for her role on the Heart Breakfast Show. She’s no longer just a former Spice Girl as she’s proved to herself and her peers and colleagues that she has talent on the radio. That’s true girl power!

Who do you think looked the best? And the award winners are:

Reality programme – Strictly Come Dancing

Soap Personality – Kym Marsh

TV Personality – Holly Willoughby

HD Drama programme – Poldark

See The Celebrity Looks At The Glamour Beauty Festival

Glamour Magazine hosted it’s second annual Beauty Festival and it was two days dedicated to beauty and fashion! It consisted of a full program of celebrity speakers and beauty experts on stage combined with different hair, make-up and nail trends to try off-stage. As it was hosted at The Saatchi Gallery in London, nobody had to camp which meant that everyone could really dress up!

Off stage, everyone was experimenting at the blowdry and braiding bar, nail salon and Fiat beach party relaxation area and there were some seriously unique and individual outfits as people had the confidence to try new things. On stage, the celebs looked super smart with most wearing blazers and trousers. It ended up being great inspiration for what to wear to a work event or occasion where you want to get taken seriously but also look fantastic.

Let’s have a closer look at how the stars did this:

Frankie Bridge

Frankie worked the monochrome look in a white blazer and black pinstripe trousers. It’s smart but she retains her personality thanks to the cute crop effect and loose style of the trousers and finishing the look with some contrasting brown ankle boots. Also, note that she wears her hair down and wavy so she looks fresh and pretty rather than  severe.

Winnie Harlow and Erin O Connor

White was a popular colour when it came to tops as supermodel Winnie Harlow also wore a white blazer and fellow model Erin O Connor wore a white blouse. The two were on stage to talk about what beauty products they’ve encountered through modelling and what they still use and they had a lot of fun answering the Q&As from the audience. What transformed Winnie’s outfit from office wear to awesome were her gold sandals – wow!

Fearne Cotton

Fearne made the most of colour in her outfit in grey trousers and a cream blazer. She was talking about how her cookbook is all about nourishing beauty from the inside and she was a great example of this as she seemed to be glowing with health on stage. Wearing bright clashing colours does make you feel  more cheerful and that also helps you look and feel more upbeat.

Louisa Johnson

Louisa also wore trousers but she stuck to an all-black look. An outfit like this is super versatile as you can dress it up or down with accessories and hair and make-up. With her stunning platinum braids and smoky eyes, Louisa looks like she’s ready to have fun – this is a look for meeting up with friends or going to the bar. It doesn’t look like you’ve tried too hard, but people will still be impressed.

Angela Scanlon

The new presenter of The One Show hosted a talk about make-up, which she knows a lot about now HD TV shows all the flaws. She looked stunning in a statement checked coat with casual boyfriend jeans – the mix of smart and casual looked super cool! The Converse added to that, making her look like the girl who you wish was your friend as she looks like she’d be fun to hang out with.

Who do you think looked the most stylish?

International Women’s Day 2017: What The Stars Did

International Women’s Day on 8 March is a day when we can celebrate being a woman and thank all our fabulous female friends and family members who inspire us! This year, the day had an extra political theme with the campaign A Day Without Women. This saw women around the world march (or at least wear the colour red) to fight for the equity, justice and human rights of women around the world. Girl power!

A lot of celebs joined in with the cause, using their social media influence to show their support. It was so inspiring to see that even though they’re famous, they’re still proud to be women and realise they’re luckier than lots of other women in poorer countries. These gorgeous celebs got particularly involved, which makes us love them even more:

Anne Hathaway

Anne gave a speech to the UN, delivering a powerful message about equal rights. What was really impressive was that she was cool, calm and beautiful as she spoke in a red jumpsuit. Just because she has brains and a heart, she can still be glamorous and care about fashion.

Khloe Kardashian

Wearing red, Khloe posted a stunning selfie to Instagram to show that she was 100 % committed to the Day Without Women cause. She’s showing off all her womanly curves in that bodycon dress, posing like she’s proud to be a woman and us ladies should celebrate what makes us beautiful. When you feel pretty, you have the confidence to make changes and achieve powerful things.

Brie Larson

At the premiere of her new film Kong: Skull Island, Brie showed off a red maxi dress to the world’s media and then posted some more selfies on Instagram to make sure we all got the message. Brie made headlines at The Oscars when she appeared to be less than thrilled to present Casey Affleck with his award – this is a lady who is brave enough to show what she’s thinking and we could all do more of that.

Karlie Kloss

The supermodel and BFF of Taylor Swift attended a women’s event in New York, giving a nod to the movement in a red jacket. She later posed for a toilet selfie, explaining that she was proud to be a lady on International Women’s Day. Karlie has a tech business, a cookie-making business, is a successful model and has lots of strong female friends – she shows that there’s no limit to what we can do if we put our minds to it.

Kerry Washington

Kerry was filming her hit TV show Scandal so she was unable to march, but she let her Instagram followers know that she would have been there if she wasn’t filming. Kerry is a real girls girl and this selfie shows she’s not afraid to be her natural self in a red tracksuit. She’s confident enough to show everyone what she’s really like when the cameras aren’t rollling – that’s inspiring!

Emma Watson

Wearing a cosy red jumper to beat the spring chill, Emma went on a book-dropping mission on the New York subway. She wants to encourage more women to read and so left several female friendly books in accessible places in the hope that women would pick them up and learn something new.

Alicia Keys

Alicia spent the day with husband Swiss Beatz, who posted this stunning image on his Instagram page. Ok, we’re not sure if her maxi dress is red or not but she does look fierce and powerful and she’s a working mum, which means she’s a strong lady. Also, she was brave enough to go to celeb parties without make-up on, which made a lot of other women question why the relied so heavily on make-up. It looks like she’s on a well-earned holiday now.

What did you do on International Women’s Day? Hopefully it will have involved something fun – we all deserve to treat ourselves on at least one day of the year!

Paris Fashion Week AW17: What The Celebs Wore

Paris Fashion Week is the extravagant, spectacular and slightly OTT one. Whereas London is all about unique, individual and new ways of dressing, Paris has a reputation for showing couture dresses, which may have elements from past decades of glamour, that each look more magical and attention-grabbing than the next.

Stars love attention-grabbing as much as they need to please the world famous designers that show in Paris like Balmain, Valentino, Stella McCartney and Chloe. The front row of the fashion shows are often like mini catwalks as the celebs jostle to be seen taking an interest in the hope they can borrow free outfits for future stage shows or premieres. However, this is brilliant news for us as it means we have a lot of inspiration and insight inti what the stars are wearing now at the start of spring to stand out in a cool, casual way.

Let’s have a closer look at some of the best dressed celebs in the Paris Fashion Week FROW:

Rihanna

Rihanna was in Paris to show off her Fenty x Puma collection but she made the most of her time to attend some shows, where she dressed a lot more conservatively than usual. We’re used to seeing Ri Ri flash the flesh but she doesn’t need to in this strong black look. The black beret oozes attitude and the black suede boots are also very cool. All she needs after that hat is a well tailored formal black coat to make a fabulous entrance. After all, who knows what’s under the coat and knowing Rihanna, it won’t be very much!

Rita Ora

Now that Rita’s on America’s Next Top Model, she’s really established her fashion credentials. For the Vivienne Westwood show, she wore one of the designers signature tartan prints and her checked blazer looked gorgeous, especially when doubled up with a similar playsuit. The final touch is her lovely brown boots, a shade lighter than the tartan, which perfectly complements the ensemble and gives her a bit of extra height so she can walk in with even more confidence.

Sienna Miller

She’s known for her boho style and Sienna stayed true to her roots in Paris in a pretty floral maxi dress. It’s the perfect look for spring. Long enough to ensure our legs don’t get cold in the breeze but with a bright, cheerful print. What do you think?

Salma Hayek

As Paris is the place where showing off is not just acceptable but expected, Salma plays up to that in a sleek black leather dress. It hugs her curves and must make her feel super confident as she looks like she means business in that dress. Even better is that you could dress it down for day with ankle boots and wear killer heels at night.

Daisy Lowe

Daisy channeled a chic, elegant French vibe as she wangled a ticket to the Christian Dior show in Paris. In a long sleeve mini dress and black courts, she looked sophisticated and sleek. She looks smart without looking like she’s tried to hard, which can be hard to pull off but she nails it.

Solange Knowles

Solange never fails to make an impact with her clothes and she stood out in Paris for the right reasons in a white maxi dress. The colour is so attention grabbing, it’s all she needs to make an impression. White is also a lovely colour for spring as it flatters the complexion and makes every hint of sunshine a million times brighte

Olivia Palermo

Olivia never fails to look stylish and give the rest of us outfit envy! What she does best is to create practical day looks that are easy to wear but look super luxurious thanks to the contrasting textures and fabrics. For this look, she’s expertly matched a pink skirt to a simple beige jumper and although you wouldn’t expect these two colours to work, she shows that they do when they’re on.

Emma Roberts

Who says wearing a suit had to be masculine? Julia Roberts’ actress niece Emma shows that we can make trousers just as feminine as jumpsuits and dresses with lovely floral embroidery on her tailored outfit. Wearing her trademark red hair down and loose adds to the fuss-free, feminine outfit.

Who do you think had the most fabulous FROW outfit?

Emeralds & Ivy Ball 2017: Celebrity Style

The Emerlads & Ivy ball is a charity dinner and dance organised by Boyzone star Ronan Keating to raise money for Cancer Research. Each year, he gets his contacts book full of pop star friends out and invites them all to a glamorous night for a fantastic cause. This year is the 11th year it’s been happening and it gets more and more dressy every year.

From classic black dresses to glittering bardot neckline dresses to slinky satin dresses, the celebs showed there are several ways to dress up for a posh event. The trick is to know what aspect of your figure you’re proud of and what to show off and then stay modest with the rest of the look.

These five stars looked especially fabulous at the ball:

Abbey Clancy

Abbey made a simple black dress look a million dollars and it’s all because of the backless detail. The V by Very jersey beach maxi dress also shows off a lovely bit of back and its loose, floaty and so easy to wear. You’ll feel super comfortable in it and when combined with a pretty up-do and some jewellery, you could too could look like a model, just like Abbey.

Una Healy

How gorgeous is the bardot neckline of Una’s shimmering black maxi dress? The former Saturdays singer turned solo star showed off a gorgeous hourglass shape which is definitely helped by the shape of the dress. The skirt has a slight fishtail detail to balance out the shoulders while the bodycon shape highlights her slim waist. This is a great way to show off your curves without flashing too much flesh and making it look as if you’ve tried too hard.

Jessica Wright

Jessica has done really well since leaving The Only Way is Essex, establishing her businesswoman credentials with her own fashion line. She certainly looks the part as well in a black trouser suit – talk about power dressing. Her outfit is very easy to copy for a strong look that will make you feel cool, composed and in control. Start with the V by Very mesh and lace tee and the V by Very tailored bootcut trousers and add the V by Very jersey blazer. What don you think?

Amy Willerton

Amy’s currently filming The Jump in Austria, but Ronan convinced her to fly to London for one night to enjoy the party. Her red maxi dress is so gorgeous she wanted to ensure it was seen from all angles, first on Instagram from her hotel suite and then in front of the branding board at the party. Like Abbey, she has toned arms and a slender back and she dressed to show that off.

Natalie Pinkham

The Sky Sports F1 presenter showed that a purple dress can look regal and elegant. It’s dark so it’s just as flattering as a black dress but the purple shines in the light, making the look more luxurious. Dark blue has a similar effect and it can be fun to break out of the black comfort zone and try something new without having to be too daring.

Who do you think looked the most glam?

The Oscars 2017: Best Dressed

After two months of back-to-back award ceremonies, it was time for the biggest and most prestigious one of all – The Academy Awards, otherwise known as The Oscars.

There was high drama on stage as La La Land was read out for Best Picture and when the producers were halfway through their acceptance speech, it was announced there’d been a mistake and Moonlight was Best Picture. So awkward!

But on the red carpet, the dramatic moments were for the right reasons as the month’s of hard work that the celebs had put in to pick their Oscars dress paid off. With glamorous gowns, radiant skin and some gorgeous up-dos, the stars looked polished in every way. These Oscars dresses are so stunning that they’re timeless – they serve as inspiration for us for any formal event that we’ll have to go to throughout the year. If your dress looks like something that a major actress has worn to the Oscars, how could you feel anything less than a million dollars?

Let’s have a closer look at 10 of the best, then look at who won what at the end of this blog post:

(1) Emma Stone

Emma wore gold to match her award for Best Actress. She’s had an incredible awards season, winning BAFTAs, Golden Globes and SAG Awards and so it was only right that she won this too. She’s been gracious and elegant as she’s collected all the awards, giving off a humble rather than smug vibe. She deserves the success.

(2) Jessica Biel

If you can’t wear gold at The Oscars, then when can you? Jessica looked dazzling in her gold sequin dress with her hair swept back so you could see the gold in all its glory. It hugs her curves and then spreads out into a fishtail skirt, which is very flattering as it balances out the figure. She looked gorgeous!

(3) Karlie Kloss

Karlie was one of a number of stars to wear a blue ribbon. What does that mean? It’s the sign of ACLU – the American Civil Liberty Union – which campaigns for the civil rights of American citizens including those whose lifestyle has been harmed by President Trump. On her white dress, it really stands out. White never fails to make an impact on the red carpet.

(4) Naomie Harris

The British actress made a fashion statement by showing off a lot of leg in her white dress. As she has fabulous legs, you can understand why she wants to show them off! Also, look carefully at her sandals and you’ll see another reason for the short dress. She wants to show off the embellishment on the strap and ankle of the mismatched pair. Cute!

(5) Viola Davis

Viola was glowing in a red maxi dress as she picked up Best Supporting Actress. The dress looked beautiful against her skin and hair and what’s really lovely is that she shows off a hint of her shoulders with its off-the-shoulder detail. It’s a small detail but it takes her dress from beautiful to magnificent.

(6) Nicole Kidman

Nicole walked tall and proud in a beige maxi dress that perfectly emphasised her long, lean figure. You need to dress to suit your body shape – if you have curves then show them off! You can then add some extra sparkle, just as Nicole has done, with some beautiful embellishment in the dress. A lot of effort’s gone into making Nicole’s dress, it looked so luxurious.

(7) Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy never puts a foot wrong when it comes to fashion and her white dress perfectly fitted in on the Oscars red carpet. White and silver are the ultimate combination for an attention-grabbing outfit. First, the white will catch people’s eyes and then the silver will shine in the light. If you really want to turn heads, remember white and silver!

(8) Kirsten Dunst

What make’s Kirsten’s black evening dress lovely is its shape. The strapless detail and asymmetric hem show that this is no ordinary black dress and it suits Kirsten’s fun sense of fashion. It’s not too formal but she makes it look a million dollars with that diamond necklace. If you want to show off some jewellery then a strapless neckline is the answer.

(9) Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee presented Emma Stone with her Best Actress award so she had to really make an effort with her outfit, knowing that she’d be on stage with a true winner. She did incredibly well though with her pretty grey floral dress that looked like something we’d see on a Disney Princess. A light touch of florals softens any look making the wearer look pretty and feminine.

(10) Halle Berry

It’s a brave choice to wear your hair au naturel on the red carpet but then look at Halle’s stunning silver dress. She can get away with anything in a dress like that. It has fringes, sequins and a flattering one shoulder detail – you couldn’t get more diva than that!

Whose dress do you love the most?

And the winners are….

Best Picture: Moonlight

Did your favourite film win?

London Fashion Week AW17: What The Celebs Wore

London Fashion Week tops all other fashion weeks. Not only do we get more world-famous designers picking London as the place to show their collections, but more shows mean more celebs in the front row. The FROW in London is a chance for the stars to catch up with their celeb pals, talk fashion and then party as most shows have a spectacular after-show party, with lavish food and drink and dancing til dawn or later!

It’s the best time to be in the capital and stars from all around the world jet in to see what’s on the catwalk and to be seen on the front row. As they know the eyes of the world will be on them, they make a real effort with their outfits. They need to create a look that will see them from the show to the after-party so it needs to be eye-catching but easy to wear. These celebs did it better than the rest:

Katy Perry

Katy, who’s in town for the Brit Awards, took time out for a fashion show. We know she loves clothes as she memorably changed her outfit 13 times when she hosted the MTV Awards, but there was no need for any changes to this lovely boho look. A pleated skirt is lovely and feminine and the contrasting metallics in the skirt and the top adds a playful edge. Her skirt is almost identical to the Glamorous pleated midi skirt. Check out her gorgeous grey ankle boots too!

Kylie Jenner

Kylie and her boyfriend Tyga flew in for a couple of days to see what the London fashion scene had to offer and to support her sister Kendall, who was walking in the Versace show. Kylie looked every inch the rock chick in a white dress, embellished with jewels and over the knee boots. She has so much attitude that she doesn’t even need to smile for the cameras – that’s confidence!

Kendall Jenner

Kylie’s sister attended a LOVE magazine party at Annabel’s nightclub in a cute white outfit that made her look sweet and girly. The white cape is perfect for this time of year and it looks so soft that she doesn’t want to take it off. Also, the contrasting fabrics of wool and cotton make the look strokably soft. Kenall looked stunning.

Ellie Goulding

Ellie kept things cool in a simple black outfit that could easily take her from day to night. It’s simple but the black mini skirt gives it a rock star edge and the black ankle boots are very cute. If you want to look cool without it looking like you’ve tried too hard, this is an ideal outfit.

Bella Hadid

Wow! Bella knows how to make an entrance. She hasn’t done many LFW’s so she’s clearly excited and wants to show off as much as she can. She certainly did that in a black faux leather dress with black knee high boots and the finishing touch is the slicked back hair. This takes vamp to another level – it’s fabulous!

Dua Lipa

It’s the first time the singer has done LFW and she definitely made a statement in a black leather skirt and red boots. All the pieces in this look are pretty so when combined, it may look like it’s just been thrown on but it wouldn’t work if any of the items were less than perfect on their own. What do you think?

Kate Bosworth

The American actress rocked the preppy look in a shirt dress and flat ankle boots. She looked pretty but didn’t have to show any flesh to do so and this gives her look a sophisticated appeal. This is a great outfit for a work party or somewhere that you need to impress.

Brit Awards 2017: Award And Fashion Winners

The Brits took over London’s O2 Arena and all the best stars from music and TV came out to celebrate. Whether they were nominated, presenting, performing or just watching the show, everyone put on their most glamorous party dress to indulge in the most lavish night of the year in British music. With performances from Katy Perry, Emeli Sande and Little Mix and guest hosts including Naomi Campbell, Rita Ora and Simon Cowell, the line-up of celebs was A’list all the way.

The action was broadcast live on ITV (and is available now to view online on ITV Player) so you may already know who won what? We’ve listed the winners at the end of this blog post just in case. First, we want to get straight to the fashion to get ideas for what to wear for long nights out. These stars started with dinner and then had a show and after-party so their outfits had to withstand a lot. There were 10 celebs that looked especially hot.

(1) Emma Willis

Emma was the hostess with the most-est as she kept the show running smoothly and calmly, using her years of experience in live TV. Her black maxi dress was sophisticated and classy – just like her performance.

(2) Ellie Goulding

Ellie rarely wears a maxi dress but she should try them more often as she looks stunning in her black dress with gold embellishment. This is a maxi dress that you can party in thanks to it’s high split and low neckline. Also, Ellie’s hair is loose and natural, which gives the dress more of a cool look, rather than too formal.

(3) Rita Ora

Rita’s dressed for red carpets a lot recently thanks to her 50 Shades Darker role and she always delights and surprises. Rita always does things differently from the crowd, making an extra effort to look different which she certainly did in a green maxi dress. But one thing she never takes a chance on is the shape of the dress. Although colours and embellishments vary, always remember that Rita is wearing something that allows her to show off her gorgeous curves.

(4) Katy Perry

Katy had multiple outfit changes during the show, as usual, but the floral maxi dress that she wore to Universal Music’s after-party really hit the spot. It’s cute and girly and it makes her look super pretty. No wonder she’s smiling so much in this pic!

(5) Holly Willoughby

Sequins are a girls’ best friend and Holly looked radiant in her sequin mini dress on the red carpet. With simple silver sandals and a dazzling smile, Holly was literally glowing. After attending an after-party, she had an early morning start for This Morning – where does she get her energy from?

(6) Mollie King

The ex-Saturdays singer looked incredible, also in a silver dress. It’s the ideal party dress – slinky, easy to move in but super striking and enables Mollie to show off her endless legs. If you know what your best asset is, you just have to dress to show it off.

(7) Pixie Lott

Rocking a black mini dress with fringe detail, Pixie channelled a hint of 80’s-style Madonna with the bustier detail of her dress. It’s a bold rock chick look but Pixie owns it by making her make-up bold and slicking back her hair. If you’re going to take a stand with your outfit then embrace it all the way and you’ll feel a lot more confident.

(8) Anne Marie

The artist may have lost to Rag N Bone Man in the Breakthrough Act category but she definitely wins in the glamour stakes. She looked gorgeous in a satin nude dress and a green fur stole. The contrast of colours looks gorgeous and gives it a classic, vintage effect, even though it’s totally on trend. What do you think?

Michelle Keegan

Michelle looked absolutely stunning in a striking blue jumpsuit. She hasn’t been to many award ceremonies due to being busy filming, but now she’s out she wants everyone to notice her. Welcome back, Michelle!

Abbey Clancy

Abbey knows what her best assets are – her long legs – and she certainly showed those off in a monochrome midi dress. She upstages everyone who’s next to year and has done for years. She always gets it right when it comes to fashion, opting for classic shapes and lots of black and white. When it doubt, wear one of those two colours…or both!

Celebrity Style Steal: Dannii Minogue

Dannii Minogue is back in England with a bang! After moving back to Australia to host the Australian X Factor in 2009, she’s now a judge on BBC talent show Let It Shine. She’s dyed her hair colour to blonde for the new role and she’s got a new wardrobe for the British weather so she can look smart and stylish when she’s working on the TV and when she’s being a mum to her young son, Ethan. Dannii is a lady who has planned in advance to make sure she has the ultimate wardrobe for all eventualities!

While Kylie is lying low following her split from her fiance Joshua Sasse, Dannii is the Minogue sister who is winning approval for her fashion choices. If you want to look chic and sleek just like Dannii then it’s easy to copy her and you’ll save time thinking about what to wear as she’s already done that.

Here are ways to steal her day and night style:

Daytime Chic

For day, Dannii looks ultra sophisticated in a tailored outfit consisting of a shirt, blazer and trousers. However, what’s modern and fresh about the look is the mis-matched colour. A single block colour trouser suit could be too bold and by wearing a red top with black trousers, it makes Dannii look softer and more feminine. We can start to get this look with the V by Very stretch slimline trousers and add a blouse like the Vero Moda vintage long sleeve shirt. The shoes are also smart and simple, just like the V by Very Maddy mid heel court shoes. Finish the look with a small shoulder bag like the Fiorelli Tilly shoulder bag and you’re power dressing without compromising on being pretty.

Night-time Glamour

Dannii certainly knows how to work a red carpet and after years in the X Factor knows how to pick a dress with the wow factor. A black mesh dress tricks the eye so it turns heads and Dannii’s dress is similar to the Rochelle Humes spot mesh midi dress. A dress like this needs simple barely there sandals so they don’t take anything away from the impact of the dress and the V by Very buttercup mid heel ankle strap sandals are perfect for that. Notice that she has a clutch bag for her essentials – try the Coast Una bow clutch bag as it adds a little bow to finish your outfit beautifully.

What do you think of Dannii’s style? If you want to look smart and in control, she’s a good lady to copy.
