The bold and The beautiFul

Get Fearne Cotton’s eclectic luxe interiors look..

No one does quirky-cool like Fearne Cotton. Whether it’s on the red carpet or in the house, the mum of two never fails to impress. Her edgy take on fashion perfectly translates into the world of interiors to create a home look that’s opulent and, of course, seriously stylish. And, with her latest Very.co.uk interiors collection, she’s done it again. “My house is a mishmash of pieces from different eras,” reveals Fearne. “I just love a vintage feel to it all. It’s about experimenting and finding things that suit you.”

So, why not follow our designer’s lead and embrace the bold and the beautiful in your home this spring?

Tie your theme together with plenty of touches of greenery. Plants help to soften the edges and give your room a homely vibe.

Aim to incorporate a little colour alongside the neutrals. “a bright piece of artwork or a floral cushion pops against a cool grey background,” says Fearne.

Be brave with print and invest in a statement piece of furniture. Pattern doesn’t have to be confined to just wallpaper and cushions.

Drew Barrymore makes no secret of the importance she places on her interior surroundings. “There’s so much stuff in my home,” the star says. “I’ve always been a homemaker, I like creating spaces.” When it comes to making over your abode, drew has two top tips. “My favourite thing to do is to have a furniture rearranging party,” she says. BLOGGERS CORNER

We chat to the coolest parent bloggers around to get their top tips and picks!

Name: Natalie Wong
Children: Gabriella, four, and Lucia, 23 months
Blog: mummygorgeous.com

What do your two girls love to wear?
I always get them involved when shopping, so we don’t have unworn or hated outfits. Gabriella likes dresses and skirts as much as leggings, chunky knits and t-shirts. Lucia is another story. She’s at that age where she doesn’t like wearing any clothes!

Which kids’ pieces are a must for Spring?
A raincoat, a nice shirtdress, a gilet and wellies. I blame Peppa Pig for the number of shoes and boots ruined by jumping in muddy puddles!

You’re so glamorous. Does that side trickle down to your girls?
Am I? Thank you. I don’t feel quite so glamorous these days. I try, though! I think it has an effect. I’m sure most little girls look at their mummy and like to mimic their style.

Are they into fashion?
Gabriella is. She likes to look nice and has an eye for clothes.

600x900-blogger

River Island Girls Denim playsuit, 7437H, £18, Hunter Original Junior Wellingtons, 2CEEX, from £32, Name It Long Sleeve Stripe Dress, 6T7EX, £30, French Connection Marble Structured Dress, 6NYPY, from £48

What else do they like?
Both girls are so into arts and crafts. They enjoy drawing and painting. Gabriella’s quite a tomboy. She’s a fan of Paw Patrol. Lucia is obsessed with Peppa Pig. She’s more girlie.

Where do you look for fashion inspiration?
I’m a traditionalist and love a magazine that I can flick through. I like to peoplewatch too. I’m completely inspired by my fellow ‘Notting Hillers’. Anything goes here!

What can’t you live without as a mum?
A bag that’s big enough for snacks, toys, paper, pens, my iPhone and a camera. I love to capture simple moments.

What about your style?
I like a neutral palette: black, grey, nude, blush and white. If I’ve had a sleepless night, it’s not too difficult to decide what to put on!

Has your look changed since becoming a mum?
I dress for comfort now. I run around with my girls in the park, so the active-wear trend is great. I like getting dressed up from time to time, though.

How do you spend your time as a family?
Hyde Park is like our second home. My daughters love afternoon tea. I think it’s the pretty cakes and sandwiches that keep them entertained.

through the keyhole

Interiors blogger Amanda Cottingham writes at theanamumdiary.co.uk and is a self confessed lover of all things quirky. Amanda, who has more than 250,000 followers on Pinterest, can spot a good textile from a hundred paces and has a keen eye for detail.

450x270-image-1

“My biggest interiors tip is that if you love it, go for it. Yes, you can go with current trends, but I think homes should be filled with your personality. If you love something – whether it’s a style or a particular piece – start with that and work your room around it.”

600x600-image-1

“Because I travel quite a lot, I chose a console table with a display shelf that I keep travel memories on. It holds things like Tanzania shillings and a spaghetti charm from Florence. I’m also a little obsessed with photography and cameras, so I keep those there too.”

600x600-image-2

“My office is at the far end of the living room. It was important that the style was integrated into the space. I decided to surround myself with my collection of magazines and vintage bits and bobs.”

230x300-image-1

“My favourite room is the smallest in the house: the en suite. It’s light, bright and a reflection of my eclectic interiors style. I love the floor tiles, which I was told wouldn’t work. I’m so glad I pushed for them because they make the room.”

This metallic pineapple pot has a fun design that would work really well in an eclectic home. Fearne Cotton Home Pineapple Pot, 6UGAW, £25.

“I’m a bit like a magpie, collecting different things that catch my eye. I’m a fan of colour and metallics. The only looks I can’t embrace are minimalism and monochrome.”

Calm your living spaCe

Turn a busy living area into a Zen-like sanctuary with cool colour palettes and classic prints.

Arguably one of the most-used rooms in the house, it’s easy for the living room to become cluttered and busy. This is exactly what you don’t need when you’re trying to create a calming sanctuary to relax in after a long day.

The quickest way to take your living room from chaos to calm is to rethink your colour scheme. Opt for pale blues, greys and creams as your base palette, keeping patterns subtle and classic. Textiles are vital for a sense of cosy luxury, but avoid too many throws or cushions as they can end up being yet more things to tidy.

Here are our six top tips for calming your living space…

600x600-numbers-1Accessorise your home with glassware and pretty floral arrangements for a grown-up, polished finish.

600x600-numbers-2A gallery of mirrors makes for a great feature and it’s a simple step to reflect more light around your room.

600x600-numbers-3Floor-length curtains in a subtle metallic shade adds a sense of understated elegance.

600x600-numbers-4Create interest with mixed textured textiles in metallic and floral prints, but opt for neutral shades to keep the overall look relaxing.

600x600-numbers-5Choose furniture with a white or natural base for a feeling of laid back order. Pick a few matching pieces for a classic look.

600x600-numbers-6Contrast your pale base colour palette with furniture in a dark lacquered finish to bring edge without compromising on the calming atmosphere.

Smells like Team Spirit

Struggle to motivate yourself to exercise? Here’s why team sports might just be the fitness friend you need in your life…

When it’s cold and dark outside, it’s easy to see why the sofa is likely to win over the gym, especially if you’re the kind of person who needs somebody to push you with your fitness. That’s where team sports come in, the theory being that you’re less likely to bail on a session if you feel like you’re letting other people down. And it’s a double win, as not only will they help you stay in shape but also you may make some new mates along the way. Here are five of our favourite ways to combine fun, friends and fitness. so, what are you waiting for?

800x100-header-1

Where to play Increasing in popularity thanks in part to the success of the England women’s football team, you can take your pick from an 11-a-side or a five-a-side team. Why it works playing regularly can help to protect against problems such as obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. A typical match burns a whopping 1,100-1,200 calories. What women say “I first started playing football with my dad in the yard when I was about four,” says England women’s captain Steph Houghton. “then I’d play in the street with my friends, and basically just be kicking a ball against a wall whenever I could. I’ve loved football ever since. Team sports are useful in terms of getting and staying fit because you’ve got all your teammates there to push you on when you’re feeling tired and encourage you to be the best you can be. I’ve made lifelong friends from the game and I’ll be forever grateful for that.” More information The FA’s website can help you find your nearest club. Visit thefa.com/play-football

800x100-header-2

Where to play A non-contact version of regular rugby, Touch Rugby League can be played in both mixed or single-sex teams – but don’t worry, tackling isn’t allowed so it’s not as rough as regular rugger! Why it works Playing a few times a week, along with the warm-up exercises, offers brilliant physical training. A 40-minute fixture covers about 3km, including sprinting distances of up to 30m. On average, players work at 80 per cent of their maximum heart rate, building muscle tone and burning up to 610 calories per hour. It provides a great HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workout, which burns fat and increases your metabolism. What women say “I wanted to play some sort of sport and I liked how easy it was to sign up and be put in a team. All I had to do was turn up. It’s a fantastic way to get to know people,” says O2 Touch player Jay Chou-Lee. More information Go online to fnd teams near you. Visit in2touch.com or playtouchrugbyleague.co.uk

800x100-header-3

Where to play Played both indoors and outdoors, the aim of the game is to throw balls at the opposing team to eliminate them from play. With over 150,000 people playing on a weekly basis, there isn’t a shortage of clubs. Why it works A one-hour session can burn around 350 calories (that’s if you stay on the court without getting hit the whole way through!). All the dodging and throwing makes for a great cardio workout too. It’s great for strength, flexibility and is also a great stress reliever. What women say “I’ve loved dodgeball since I frst played it seven years ago! I love the way it’s an inclusive sport and caters for all people from both sporting and non-sporting backgrounds who are looking to play seriously or just for fun,” says Steph White, Scotland Highlanders’ women’s coach. “I think the people make the sport and the friendships I’ve made mean I enjoy playing and competing even more.” More information Visit ukdba.org

800x100-header-4

Where to play You can find a basketball court in most local leisure centres, so it’s ideal for those who prefer to exercise indoors when the weather isn’t great. Why it works Whether you’re on the attack or in defence, you’ll be jogging up and down a 94ft long court and you’ll burn on average around 584 calories per hour. Basketball is an excellent full-body workout and helps develop useful, lean muscles. What women say “It can stretch your mind with the technical IQ required as you always look to develop your skills, fitness and athleticism. One of the biggest elements in success is finding chemistry with your teammates. The collective effect of that can be inspiring and hugely enjoyable,” says Stef Collins, a basketball legend and the most capped basketball player in Great Britain’s history. More information For your nearest team, email ofce@basketballgb.com

800x100-header-5

Where to play A full-contact sport, it’s a cross between rugby and running a race except everyone is on roller skates and there’s no ball! Why it works It’s a great cardio workout and is good for your strength, balance and endurance. You can burn 450 calories during a 30-minute roller derby game. What women say “Roller derby is a great way to get fit and be a part of a team,” says Katy Gordon, vice chair of the UKRDA. “It is a real mix of endurance, agility and strength training and is one of the most effective all-round sports for exercise. Most clubs don’t expect you to have any skating experience because full training is provided. And as it’s a sport that started as female-only, there’s a real feeling of empowerment for women, particularly those who fell away from traditional sports as teenagers.” More information You need to join a league to take part. Nike Air Max Day: The Best Air Max Moments

It’s a double celebration at the weekend, as March 26th isn’t only the day before Easter (yay!) but also Nike Air Max Day – a celebration of 29 years of Air Max. From the first Air Max 1 pair in 1987 that introduced ‘visible air’ to the world, to the ground-breaking Air Max 90 (Infrared) in 1990 and moving us into a new chapter with the Air Max Flyknit in 2014, these shoes have certainly made their mark.

They’re hugely popular around the world – and have been a key fixture in our culture for nearly 30 years, appearing in some of our favourite movies, on the feet of well-known pop stars and even the US President! So grab your favourite pair and check out some of our favourite Air Max moments:

In pop music…

We loved when Ella wore her Nike Air Max with a sporty vibe and tumbling curls. The pop starlet is a huge fan of Air Max and is rumoured to have around 32 pairs – with even a couple of bespoke pairs with ‘Feline’ written on them.

When Rita Ora Instagrammed hers…

Nike Air Max have been seen on a range of stars over the years, but in the last couple of years with the 90s trend hitting the catwalk, there has been real love for the more retro style of Air Max. Rita Ora even Instagrammed her obsession with the shoe – and is seen here performing in a metallic blue pair to complement her outfit!

In fashion…

When Vogue Williams wore hers street style…

Putting a different spin on the sports shoe, we love the way Vogue teamed her Air Max with leather look leggings, a quilted shoulder bag and zebra print coat for a fashionable off-duty look.

When Sam Faiers showed off her abs in hers!

When Sam showed off her amazing abs thanks to all her hard work down the gym, it wasn’t just her abs we were looking at… we couldn’t take our eyes off her striking Nike pink trainers! The Air Max beauties added a fun feel to her workout that even inspired us to want to get training too. If only we could look this glam while exercising!

In Politics (yes, really)…

When President Barack Obama wore his…

US President Barack Obama has been spotted out and about in his Nike Air Max shoes on many occasions – he’s especially fond of an Elite II pair! And as a huge basketball fan he’s often seen shooting some hoops while in a pair.

In the Movies…

When Morgan Freeman wore a pair in Lean on Me

Lean on Me starring Morgan Freeman showed a pair of Air Max 1s – also known as Air Max 87s. The film is based loosely on the true events around an inner city high school principal, Joe Clark who made radical changes to save his school from being taken over. But Air Max provide a moment of light relief when Freeman’s character takes part in a skipping scene!

The first pair of Air Max that came from the original design by Tinker Hatfield, these Air Maxs were a cultural phenomenon.

When King Ralph wore them to the cricket…

When John Goodman strapped on a pair of Air Max 90s for the film King Ralph, he broke the rules of etiquette by wearing bright sneakers to a cricket match. But he definitely scored style points as this pair of Air Max is one of the most popular pairs of all time. Although he sports Air Jordan Vs on the poster for the film, it is the colourful Air Max 90s he wears throughout most of the film that came out in 1991, the year before the film was released.

So there you have it – Nike Air Max have had a huge impact within fashion and culture, and basically just look pretty cool as well! So to get your pair, shop the Nike store on our website.

gadget girl

Tech guru Julia Hardy shows us what’s on her radar this month..

This year’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas went extra tech-crazy and we saw more and more ‘normal’ items become technified. That’s ace in my opinion. Smart gadgets have got super smart now.

HAIR WE GO
How about something to make your locks longer? The igrow is a rather unsexy bike helmet that uses lasers and LED to promote hair growth. Apparently it does work, just maybe wear it inside the house…

600x600-gadget-girl-products-1

NAIL IT
Are you a totally mani-obsessed kinda girl? Sick of people having tips that look a bit like yours? The Inail (pronounced “I nail”) is basically a printer for your talons. After picking a design (you can send it photos too), you stick your hand in and then it prints onto your nails. No more anger-inducing design-related accidents. It’s perfect every time.

600x600-gadget-girl-products-2

FANCY FRIDGE
Take a look at this Samsung Smart Fridge. The huge screen on the front is about to become the hub to your family life. It merges the household’s calendars and takes and sends photos of its contents to your smartphone (that’s really useful when you pop into the supermarket and aren’t sure what you need). It acts like a normal tablet too, so you can stream movies and music and even watch cooking videos. It really is a very clever bit of tech.

400x600-gadget-girl-fridge

PET CENTRAL
Is being away from your pet all day just too much? Then, you need Petcube. Not only is it a video camera, so you can see what your pampered pet is up to while you’re away, but there’s also a two-way microphone, which means you can hear them and they can hear you. And, it has a laser pointer in it, allowing you to play with your cat when you’re on a lunch break. Petcube acts as home security too as it uses motion sensors to alert you and record video when you are out of the house.

BUTTON UP
Ever imagined having something great happen at the touch of a button? While a man delivering Bourbon biscuits in hot pants is probably not on the cards, we have found something that makes a whole host of other good stuff just a click away. This is Flic, a button you can assign to do up to three different tasks. Perhaps you want to order a pizza, send an alert if you need help or get a fake call to rescue you from that appalling date? You can program it to do pretty much anything.

Single white female

Rebel Wilson is starring in hilarious new film how to Be Single. We caught up with Australia’s shining star of the moment.

After trying to make it in her native Australia, comedian, actress, writer and producer
Rebel Wilson had her sights set on Hollywood. Fortunately, it was a welcoming place for the 35 year old and her career has grown from strength to strength…

Was it tough moving to Hollywood?
It was incredibly tough, but I was fortunate enough to be mentored by some amazing people. One of the first women who was really nice to me in Hollywood was Amy Poehler. When I first came to America, I was no one, yet she agreed to meet me at Chateau Marmont and give me advice.

What did she say?
Basically, that you have to generate your own content. You can be funny all you want, but you’ll get to a point where if you want the right roles, you have to write them and develop them yourself. It was great advice. Luckily, I have the skill set to do it, but it was good to hear something like that straight of the bat. You can get lucky sometimes with roles, but usually you have to write them yourself, otherwise you’ll end up playing the sister or the ‘funny friend’ all the time.

6006x600-rebel-wilson

Do you get approached by young actresses wanting guidance?
Not a lot. I don’t think they have my phone number! Australian Theatre For young people, where I studied, occasionally put me in touch with people that they think have the goods. There are plenty of people who want to be actors, so they only put me in touch with the ones they think have more promise.

What one piece of advice would you give to aspiring actors?
I always advise people to get a good education. I have many young, teenage fans in high school and I always tell them to study really hard. Not everyone is academic, but there should be something that you like at school – sports, music, art. Work hard in that and do your best. The entertainment industry is a very uncertain, risky career path and, realistically, the likelihood of making a full career out of it is small. So, if you have a good education, then you always have something else to fall back on.

What would you fall back on?
I have a law degree. I don’t think I’ll ever need to go to plan b, but it’s a useful one to have!

When did you know you wanted to be an actress?
I think around high school. I was very shy in high school, but I had a fantastic teacher who saw my potential and encouraged me to enter a performing arts tournament. It made me totally come out of my shell and realise I love performing. then, I became obsessed with watching Oprah Winfrey and she inspired me too.

How did your cameo in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie come about?
I’m a huge Absolutely Fabulous fan. Jennifer Saunders was one of the
first women I saw on screen writing and performing her own material. I got the chance to meet her last year in London and I cried when I met her! She’s every bit as amazing as I thought. Then, Matt Lucas actually told me Jennifer Saunders was writing an Ab Fab movie. He knew I was such a big fan of hers and gave me her email address.
I emailed her and said: “If you need me for anything, I’ll be there,” and she cashed that in about six months later. she said: “We’re going to be shooting around November [2015] and would love to have you come on for a day and do some funny stuff.” It was so fun. The show is so iconic in the UK and to work with Jennifer and Joanna [Lumley] was incredible.

Who are your close friends in the industry?
My closest mates aren’t actually in the industry. my best friend, Nick, just moved to London. in the industry, though, i’d have to say Anna Kendrick, my mate from Pitch Perfect. She’s such a great actress and does such diverse work. It’s been great to pair up with her in what has become a big franchise.

Perfect Places to pop the question

Whether you’re hoping for a proposal this Valentine’s Day or
you’re taking the leap on 29 February, here’s where to go!

Lake Loveliness
Derwentwater in the Lake District is one of Visit England’s top five places to propose and it’s not hard to see why with its dramatic mountains and beautiful lakes. Hire a boat, row out to a secluded spot and go to The Cottage In The Wood. (Rooms including breakfast start from £115 a night;
thecottageinthewood.co.uk.)

Travel

Cornish Charm
Welsh poet Dylan Thomas described Mousehole (pronounced ‘Mowzel’) in Cornwall as “the loveliest village in England”, and we agree. Pack a Champagne picnic for a beachside engagement, then book into Chapel House PZ in Penzance for sea views and design-led decor. (Rooms from £150 per night; chapelhousepz.co.uk.)

Travel4

Highland Fling
Take a day trip to the most northern part of the UK – the Shetland Islands – for a date to remember. Fly to Lerwick and make for a secluded beach like West Voe with its white sands and perhaps only a puffin or two for company. Afterwards, pop into Frankie’s Fish & Chips in Brae – voted 2015 best fish and chips in the UK – before flying home. (Daily fights are via Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Visit shetland.org/plan/how-to-get-here/fight.)

Travel3

Primrose Perfection
In a survey by Hotels.com, Primrose Hill in London was voted as the most romantic place in the UK. Grab a bench at the top on a clear sunny day and pop the question. Nearby gastropub York & Albany is owned by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and the hotel rooms are ideal for an overnight stay with style. (Double rooms from £150 per night on a room only basis; gordonramsayrestaurants.com/york-and-albany.)

Enjoying a delicious meal with your other half doesn’t have to mean ditching the diet…

This 14 February make a hearty dish that’ll leave you both feeling nourished rather than stuffed and sleepy.

Poached Thai Salmon with Pak Choi
Serves 2

Very Mag stories individual3

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
2 shallots, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped or grated
A thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped or grated
1 red chilli, deseeded and chopped
1 lime leaf, finely shredded
A stalk of lemongrass, chopped
500ml of fish or vegetable stock
2 salmon fillets, skinned
2 pak choi, leaves separated
1 small handful of fresh coriander leaves, to serve

Method:
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a medium saucepan and fry the shallots, garlic, ginger and chilli for a few minutes to soften. Add the lime leaf and lemongrass to the pan and cook for another minute.
2. pour in the stock, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer for 10-12 minutes to infuse the flavours. Add the salmon fillets and poach for 7-8 minutes over a gentle heat. Add the pak choi leaves for the last minute of cooking.
3. Arrange the salmon fillets and pak choi in bowls and ladle the fragrant broth over. Remove the lime leaf and lemongrass before serving. Garnish with the coriander.

Sweet Potato Cakes, Grilled Tiger Prawns with Ginger and Saffron Yoghurt
Serves 4

Very Mag stories individual2

Ingredients:
3 medium-sized sweet potatoes (approx 750g), peeled
1 egg, free-range or organic
25g coconut four
3 spring onions, chopped
Sea salt and black pepper, freshly ground
Coconut oil
16 raw tiger prawns, peeled and deveined
For the ginger and saffron yoghurt:
A pinch of saffron threads
125g of coconut yoghurt
1 teaspoon of fresh ginger, finely grated
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt and black pepper, freshly ground
A squeeze of lemon juice
Optional: a tablespoon each of coriander and mint, freshly chopped

Method:
1. Steam or boil the sweet potatoes for 10-12 minutes until soft. Drain and dry the potatoes in the pan for 1-2 minutes, then mash them until smooth. Mix in the egg, coconut four, spring onions and salt and pepper. Form 12 lime-sized balls and press into patties, about 1cm thick. If making ahead, chill the cakes in the fridge until you are ready to cook them.
2. Add ½ tablespoon of boiling water to the saffron threads and leave to cool. Remove from the water and mix them into the coconut yoghurt, ginger, olive oil, salt and pepper. Squeeze in a little lemon juice. You can add coriander and mint if you wish.
3. Put 2 tablespoons of coconut oil into a large non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
4. Using a non-stick pan, sauté the prawns in a little coconut oil for 2 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Serve the patties with a dollop of ginger and safron yoghurt over the top and the prawns on the side.

Coconut Yoghurt Jelly with Raspberry and Fig Compote
Serves 4

Pudding

Ingredients:

Sweet 2016 Dreams

Sixteen switches for the new year. They’re so easy, you can do them while you sleep. Well, before bed…

1. Leave-in conditioner

Put onto dry, parched ends to nourish your hair.

2.  The silk secret

Cotton pillowcases can cause hair to frizz. Swap to silk ones to help reduce unnecessary breakage.

3. Braid before bed

Wake to mermaid-style locks without the heat damage. Plait damp hair before bed and remember that the smaller the section, the tighter the wave.

4. Hand cream

Smother a generous layer of hydrating lotion on your hands and feet.

5. Zap zits

Soothe spots while you sleep by applying tea tree oil on your blemishes. Its disinfecting properties will help reduce redness and won’t strip your skin of its natural oils.

6. Root cause

Avoid waking up to flat hair caused by greasy roots and use a dry shampoo before bed. Spritz under the hair, close to the roots and scrunch in until the white powder disappears.

7. Brush your lips

Gently exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush and then lock in moisture with an enriching balm.

8. Cold creams

Applying eye cream prior to nodding off is no secret, but how about keeping the product in the fridge? The cooling effect will help to reduce puffiness and comfort your weary peepers.

9. Try a humidifier

For softer skin, use a humidifier. It adds moisture to the air, so it’s perfect for when the heating is on.

10. Rest easy

Make sure to get at least eight hours of shut-eye a night. Aim to turn off your phone and tablet screens 60 minutes before turning in. They emit blue light which can disturb your sleep pattern.

11. Cleanse

Don’t drop off without removing your make-up. It can attract blemish-causing bacteria.

12. All white

Once a week, dip your toothbrush into some bicarbonate of soda, polish your teeth and rinse. Do it before bed for the best results.

13. Hair mare

Keep your locks off your face while you snooze to prevent breakouts.

14. Oil up

Suffer from hard hangnails? Massage cuticle oil onto your nail beds for total rehydration.

15. Night cream

Whatever your age, use a night lotion or a restorative serum on cleansed skin. These products are able to work their magic without any disruption from cosmetics, the sun and pollution.

 16. Joint care

Zones like your knees, elbows and any other areas that are prone to excessive dryness will benefit from an overnight hydrating hit.
