Before Very.co.uk launched back in Summer last year they held a number of pre launch events across the country and I was lucky enough to recieve an invite to Liverpool event and find out what the brand was all about.
There were lots of different competitions to enter at the launch parties and I was lucky enough to win a makeover competition which led to me being photographed with some of Very’s celebrity designers, such as Caprice and Fearne Cotton.
I later registered as a ‘Very Insider’, creating product bundles and writing reviews to assist other customers with their purchases. This was the catalyst of my involvement into where we are now with the V-blog.
Being a busy business professional with a diverse career history including interior design, dressmaking and project management, as well as a mother to 3 teenagers and aunt to my brother and sisters babies, means I have a wide range of interests and experience that I hope to share via my V-blogs, Facebook page and Twitter updates that will provide other customers of Very with hints, tips and advice to get the best out of your shopping experience.
Although I’m 38, I love following the latest trends for fashion and home. I’m a fanatical shoe shopper and my teenagers keep me up to date with the latest technology and gaming products.
My favourite Very designer brands are Ted Baker, Firetrap, Ravel and Dune as well as the fabulous Fearne Cotton and Love Label ranges. In fact, the latest addition to my shoe collection was a pair of Fearne Cotton’s “Cassandra” platform shoes in pale pink which I love!!
Take a look at my “Go naked…” V-blog for more items that follow this recent ‘nude and neutral’ trend.
