London is synonomous with all things iconic. From the route master buses to the red phone box and from Hyde park to… Liberty! The hugely popular department store is one of the most visited buildings for tourists, and is equally loved by people who live in and near London. It is infamous not only for the amazing Tudor building but also it’s signature floral print, and yesterday we were delighted to be invited down to a little intimate event to celebrate all things floral!
The ‘Flower Power Flash Mob’ event yesterday was really an excuse to celebrate the mighty flower, and what a great excuse too! The team at Liberty invited everyone with a flowery name down to the Carnaby Street entrance to join in with the party. Little corsages and flower stickers were being given out, and there was the cutest little Mini covered in flowers which was actually a photo booth (see pics below).
All the kids who came down had the opportunity to enter into the Flower Girl Pageant for a chance to win a gorgeous bicycle and a wild flower crown. And the judge for the event? None other than our Very own Jasmine Guinness! We caught up with Jasmine, who is now five months pregnant. She said how much she loved Liberty and was so glad to be part of the Flower Girl parade. We asked what she was wearing and she very happily broke down her outfit:
“My top is part of my own range with very.co.uk and the skirt is actually by Denise van Outen for Very. I was so excited when I recieved my bag full of DVO goodies”.
This is a great opportunity to introduce you all to Dhillon, Very’s very own Dog About Town. We asked Jasmine if she’d have a little picture with Dhillon (who was Petal for the event!), she happily obliged!
Don’t forget to click onto www.very.co.uk and have a look at Jasmine and Denise’s ranges.
