Herzigova’s Harrods Style

Hello Boys and Hello Girls – Eva Herzigova is back to her glamorous best.

The former Wonderbra model opened the Harrods sale at the weekend with departing store boss Mohammed Al Fayed and Khalifa Al Kuwari, the chief operating officer of Qa’tar holdings.

Earlier this month it was announced Al Fayed was selling the  Knightsbridge department store for £1.5 billion to the Qa’tar royal family, who were buying it through Qa’tar holdings.

But there was no sign of nostalgia or sadness as Eva cut the ribbon to start the sale and then there was a celebrity fashion show organized by D&G and attended by glamorous celebrities like Rachel Weisz and Matthew McCaonaughey’s girlfriend Camilla Alves. Just applause all round…

Eva has just announced her own fashion project, with a new capsule clothing collection for French label Etam called Pour 1.2.3.

The range is only sold in mainland Europe now, but will be online from the end of next month so everyone will have a chance to check out whether the supermodel has brains as well as beauty.

Of the collection, she said: “It has been totally hands-on, no one telling me what to do and designing whatever crossed my mind.

“Having done my own clothes from when I was young in the Czech Republic, I know how things are assembled and think of each detail. I am a perfectionist and I demand a lot, and I wanted something that is affordable but also luxurious.”

We like the sound of that. And we also love how Eva carries off a strapless dress with no need for bulky accessories.

Very also has some stylish strapless women’s dresses that make a statement without the need for necklaces, bangles or ear-rings.

Eva’s outfit had layering like this Teatro layer organza dress

But if it’s pink you’re after, one option is a Lipsy gold satin bustier dress

OR for a full on feminine look, the Love Label belted hem dress is gorgeous.

Watch out Kate Moss – there’s room for more than one model turned designer in fashion.
