It’s A Dame’s Life

My favourite type of actress is the older ones. I don’t mean to sound controversial but it’s true. Give me Dame Judi Dench over Megan Fox any day. We’re lucky in the UK, we’ve got many an older actress who have graced the screens for years, even decades. One such actress, another dame, not only shines on screen, but she’s become a little fashion icon in her right. Yes, I am of course talking about Dame Helen Mirren.

We’ve all probably seen something or other with Dame Helen in. Be it Calender Girls or (my personal favourite) The Queen, and no doubt we’ve all seen pictures of her in the papers or magazines, most of the time very well dressed. Did everyone see her in her red bikini? What a body!! When she steps out onto a red carpet she always looks elegant, classy and her outfits are always well put together.

She very much flies the flag for the older (am I allowed to say that?) lady in terms of dressing well. If you follow Dame Helen, you’re sure to have an A class wardrobe!

Have a look at some of these pics of the lovely Helen. Always so chic!
