How-to wear: Leopard Print

One trend I’ll inspire you with is Leopard Print.  Big cat prints have been prowling down all the catwalks and are now skulking down the High Street and Very has an impressive collection of pieces to choose from – however wild you’re feeling…

The key to wearing leopard print is not to go over board and wear it head-to-toe, you don’t want to be mistaken for an escapee from the local zoo!   The idea is to introduce this bold print into your outfit with one or two statement pieces whilst you leave the rest of your outfit simple.

If you find the look a challenge to get to grips with, work it into your outfit with accessories.  This leopard print umbrella, £6.00 and faux fur leopard print bag £22.00 are ideal occasional pieces that will instantly jazz up your outfit whilst addressing the trend subtly.  If you want to make more of a statement, match your bag to your shoes with these cutesy So Fabulous! Goggins wider fit ballerinas, £22.00 or for added wow factor – these Dune Jackpot Peep Toe Shoes, £85.00 look fabulous worn with this season’s skinny cigarette trousers.

A fierce coat will show you mean business like the stunning South Longline Leopard Print Coat, £69.00.  The oversized collars up the glam-factor and the luxe fabric is bound to make you purr or you could opt for the ultra glamorous Jasmine Guinness Leopard Collar Cuff Coat, £79.00.  This long tailored beauty gives a nod to old-school glamour and is more understated, introducing the trend with leopard trim and collars.  You’ll look like a true starlet in this one and it’s versatile enough for work or play.

If you want to rock leopard print fearlessly, choose this Oasis leopard print shift dress, £60.00.  Dressed down you can wear it to the office over slim fit black trousers or opaque tights and ankle boots with a fitted blazer.  For after-work drinks, dare to bare and show off your natural legs, roll up the sleeves of your blazer to just past the elbow to expose the lining, add these art deco earrings, £14.00 OR large studded bangle set, £14.00  then all you need is flame red lipstick and watch your prey flock.
