Onlookers risked catching pneumonia just looking at Lady Gaga this weekend as she paraded London’s Southbank wearing an odd lacy ensemble…and there were a lot of fans following as you can see from Very’s photos above and below
As if the corset dress and net tights weren’t risky enough on this chilly autumn day, Gaga also added some (literally) killer platform shoes and dark goggles to the fashion mix.
It’s all because she was being interviewed at the same time for a US TV show. Presumably it had an adult rating as Gaga flaunts her fab figure in her black mesh dress.
The star was in London promoting her new album ‘Born This Way’ and had her first interview by the River Thames with US TV presenter, Anderson Cooper for CNN.
Very witnessed the two getting rather cosy as they talked about fame, music and living constantly in the public eye. Gaga said that the album was her way of embracing the fans who have shared their deepest stories, wishes and secrets with her.
In her latest line of crazy creative endeavours, Gaga has recorded a duet with Elton John for an upcoming Disney film entitled ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’. It is a tale of two pointy-hatted lovers, directed by Shrek 2’s Kelly Asbury.
Stars such as James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Micheal Caine, Stephen Merchant and Ozzy Osbourne lend their voices to the animation and is due to be released in February 2011.
While cartoon based films have not traditionally done well at the Academy Awards, there is no doubt Gaga will use the opportunity to dress up for the film’s premiere next year.
And talking of dressing up, if you’re a fan of the mesh detailing on Gaga’s outfit, try the Love Label mesh dress from Very
Fallen for a touch of gold embellishing? Love Label brings you this Belted Dip Hem Dress.
For maximum impact, opt for Very’s South Satin Bustier. Gaga often wears a shape-boosting corset under her clothes
The singer is currently working through the Irish leg of her tour with gigs in Belfast and Dublin before moving to Prague and Hungary. Let’s hope she packs some warmer clothes!
