If Lord Alan Sugar needs a panellist for The Apprentice, he should call Kate Moss who is proving herself to be a savvy businesswoman.
Very caught up with her at the launch of her fifth fragrance in London, Vintage Muse. The newest scent joins Vintage, Kate, Kate Summertime and Velvet Hour on the shelves – each one sold at around £20 each.
We witnessed the 36-year-old model work her way through a queue of autograph hunters to promote the scent at Boots on Oxford Street, while dressing to impress.
She knows that if she is photographed looking hot then it will make the papers and magazines and get the name of her fragrance out there in time for Christmas. What a perfect time to launch!
But that’s not all for brand Moss. The fashion expert exclusively reveled she will be taking part in the Miami Pulse Art Fair.
Clever Kate’s curating a portfolio of 11 images of herself by 11 of her favorite photographers and selling 30 of them for at least £60,000 each in Miami from 1 December.
Vanity Fair Annie Leibovitz, Juergen Teller and Chuck Close are some of the photographer’s Kate has picked but it’s her image that people will be buying into, not the shots.
It makes £20 for her fragrance seem like a bargain!
But it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to copy Kate’s style if you shop at Very.
Kate’s got a businesslike suit jacket. Follow the model’s lead with the A-Wear lace puff sleeve jacket featuring this season’s on trend material – lace – for the curent sale price of £28, saving £12 on the original price of £40 – get it quick!
Velvet is another way to vamp up a black jacket. The South velvet belted jacket is just £49 and the model wearing it looks very similar to Kate.
For £79, the Kookai tweed textured jacket is a fantastic imitation of the classic Chanel jacket
Shoes are also great value at Very. Get a pair just like Kate’s – these South dublin topped black ankle boots are perfect and great value too!
And what’s really clever about the British supermodel is Kate doesn’t flash the cash even though she’s rolling in it.
When she wed her long-term boyfriend Jamie Hince this summer, only a handful of her pals were present and her daughter Lila Rose was the only ring bearer.
No wonder she’s a multimillionaire – world’s apart from where she was born and raised in a poor area of Croydon in South London. Live the dream, Kate, live the dream!
