It looks like Kimberley Walsh is about to step into the style void left by her Girls Aloud band mate Cheryl Cole if the X Factor takes Cheryl to the States.
Like Cheryl, Kimberley has been trying to establish herself as a TV presenter since Girls Aloud announced they were on a break last year.
And also like Cheryl, who works with L’Oreal Elnett hairspray, luscious locked Kimberley is working with the Schwarzkopf Supersoft haircare range on their new shampoos.
When Very met Kimberley at the British Fashon Awards, after we had complimented her outfit she revealed that we’re going to see a lot more of her on the TV screen in 2011.
But as well as the light-hearted pop stuff, Kim has planned a couple of serious documentaries.
“I love learning new things, so if I can combine that with work I’m really happy,” the hard-working pop star told us.
Kimberley also revealed she would be supporting Cheryl every step of the way and would be attending the X Factor final, hopefully to see Cheryl achieve victory with her girl contestants.
“I love both Rebecca Ferguson and Cher Lloyd,” Kim admitted.
And talking of love, Kimberley has been with her boyband boyfriend Justin Scott for six years and there are rumours he will pop the question at Christmas.
Hopefully 2011 will be the year for a Girls Aloud wedding or three, as the girls’ band mate Sarah Harding is also settled with her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane and Nadine Coyle is engaged to American footballer Jason Bell.
We hope the pop star’s fashion doesn’t change if she does settle down and get married as Kim was one of the best dressed stars at the fashion awards.
It can be difficult to match a skirt and a top and still look dressed up but Kimberley manages it thanks to the shape of the skirt, which really emphasises her small waist. Try the Love Label velvet drape mini
The Rare feather skirt also has a structured waist then falls down and out in waves.
Or for a more classic look, the South soft leather skirt starts at the waist then gives you an elegant shape all the way down – as well as being a gorgeous light brown colour
Team with a bright bustier like the South printed bustier
Finish with some classic beige heels like the Fearne Cotton Mad Hatter button court shoes, which are currently in the sale at £25.60 down from £32 – get them quick!
Kimberley makes fashion affordable and accessible and the best news is we’ll get lots more of that in 2011.
