Pixie Lott has taken a break from recording her second album to promote her new collection of clothes for Lipsy.
Her new range, which will be out at the end of May, will be the third she’s designed for the brand and split into two areas – Pixie Party and California Dreaming.
But the exclusive news about Pixie is she is about to head back to California and Los Angeles to do more than just dreaming as she has won the lead role in a new film.
No wonder she is literally shining with happiness as she attended the Lipsy promotional party in London. And the flowers are a nice touch!
Pixie has been in a film before called Fred: The Movie, where she played a character adored by main character Fred and fought over by Fred and his friend.
But her role in the upcoming film Sweet Baby Jesus will be much more substantial.
Pixie will be the star, playing Mary in a plot based around the Christmas story. Pixie discovers she is pregnant but instead of traveling to Jerusalem by donkey she makes a journey to Maryland, USA. Sounds unique!
The film should be out in time for Christmas 2011, which will coincide with Pixie’s music plans.
She’s just announced that her second album that she’s currently making will be released in October. It’s the follow-up to her 2009 album Turn It Up, which went double platinum and had number one singles Mama Do and Boys and Girls.
Some singers would feel stressed under the pressure but Pixie’s still looking bright and upbeat as she partied in London.
That could partly be because of her clothes as if you look fresh and fabulous, you can’t help but feel happy.
A way to get a similar effect from the current Lipsy collection is the stunning Lipsy allure printed bandeau dress – great if you have a hint of a summer tan
Or the Lipsy printed shift dressis bright, but there’s more support for your top half as well as being more fitted around the waist. Gorgeous and girly!
The Lipsy embellished pomadore dress is also bright and beautiful and flattering for most skin tones
We look forward to seeing more of Pixie…and her new collection.
