How Actress Vanessa Hudgens Brightens Up Cannes

Splitting  up with long-term boyfriend Zac Efron seems to have made Vanessa Hudgens a lot stronger.

Five months after the pair split, the High School Musical star looks like she’s enjoying single life more than ever, and has been spotted living it up at Cannes Film Festival.

She’s been attending just about every premiere and party going and looking fabulous- what a great attitude!

Marking her arrival in Cannes, the young actress attended Calvin Klein’s “Women In Cannes” event, and made sure she stood out from the crowd in a bright yellow textured maxi dress with asymmetric length.

Teaming the look with her newly shorter locks – a fabulously rich and glossy long bob, à la Fearne Cotton and Olivia Palermo – we have to say Vanessa nailed the trend for colourful acid brights and managed to look glamorous, sexy and unique all at the same time.

Although in Cannes it seems to be more about getting seen at events than promoting any of her own movies, Very can reveal that the actress is anxious to line up her next role and wants to be taken more seriously after receiving mixed reviews for Sucker Punch. She said: “’I’m not content doing the same thing. I think all actors… no one’s content doing the same thing. You’re always broadening your horizons and exploring your limits.

“I’m very happy with where I’m at. But of course there is so much more that I want to tackle. That unrest is what will always keep us going.”

Certainly if her amazingly varied outfit choices at Cannes are anything to go by, then versatility for Vanessa isn’t a problem.

If you want to channel Vanessa’s eye-catching look, the South Chiffon Maxi Dress is the perfect match – it’s maxi, it comes in eye-watering lemon, and even better; the dreamy chiffon fabric will have you floating around like a Cannes goddess in no time.

Or, if maxi isn’t quite your thing, then work Vanessa’s bright and sunny look into your wardrobe with the Love Label Fit and Flare Sun Dress – in a thigh skimming length, this gorgeous summery dress nips in at the waist and kicks out at the hips for a gorgeous hourglass silhouette.

And for those of you who want something in-between the Teatro matt and shine dress is the perfect mid-length option

With outfits sorted, all that’s left to do is add a pair of strappy sandals. Try the Teatro Mirrorball Metallic Strappy Sandals for added star quality and a boxy clutch like the Lipsy Diamante Hardframe Clutch Bag.

Vanessa, we salute you! It won’t take this stunning senorita long to find a replacement for her ex-boyfriend.
