Golden Toes from Nails Inc.

Back in February I tried the Peel On, Peel Off nail stickers in chrome from Rebel Nails. So when I noticed that Very now stock a range of Nails Inc. nail wraps and I had to try them. I’m a huge fan of the Nails Inc polishes so I was intrigued to see how the wraps compared.

They have five to choose from – Black and White Zebra, Solid Chrome, Solid Gold, Pink Cheetah and Leopard Print Purple. Each pack contains enough wraps for your fingers and toes.

I chose the Solid Goldoption to add the midas touch to my toes.

Application is easy and very much the same as the Rebel Nails stickers;
1. Make sure your nails are clean by wiping with nail polish remover
2. Select the right size for your nail
3. Peel off the sticker and heat the sticker with a hairdryer until it curls
4. Smooth the wrap over your nail from the centre to the edges
5. File off the excess (I found it easier to trim the excess with a pair of nail scissors)

I would say that the Nails Inc wraps are slightly thicker and stickier than the Rebel Nails stickers but I didn’t find the thickness or the stickiness of the Rebel Nails lacking in anyway so, for me, it’s neither a pro or a con.

Where the chrome and gold finishes are concerned I love the solid finish you get, I think it would be impossible to have such a perfect, smooth finish with a polish. This is a definite plus.

The Nails Inc wraps lasted very well. I wore them for three days before peeling them off and removing the glue residue with nail polish remover (and applying a coat of my favourite shade of Nails Inc polish – Jermyn Street)

Since my last looky-see at the Rebel Nail stickers they have added a number of new designs, the black and white polka dot option really caught my eye… perfect for the new spotty trend!

Have you tried any nail wraps?
