If you’re looking to go on holiday this summer there’s no doubt you’ll want to capture each and every moment with an easy-to-use digital camera! Choosing a new digital camera can be a bit over whelming (there are so many!), however, I’m here to help you choose!
If you’re looking for a simple digital camera that will let you simply “point and shoot”, Samsung’s PL170 digital camera is just what you’re looking for. It’s compact, will easily fit in your handbag, and has plenty of auto-modes that will do all of the dirty work for you. Plus, what I really like about it is that it has a small LCD screen on the front of the camera, allowing you to take self-portraits! Perfect for those “kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower” shots, non?
Alternatively, if you’re a keen photographer, I’d recommend bringing a compact digital camera that has interchangeable lenses like the Olympus PEN PL2, or the Sony Nex 5! The Sony Nex 5 gives you manual control over your shots, but also has an Intelligent Auto mode which will detect the best settings for the shot you’ve set up. Easy as pie!
If you love to film the ins and outs of your holiday, rather than taking photos, the Kodak PlaySport is your new best friend! This camera records in full 1080p HD, is incredibly durable (my 2-year-old niece has dropped mine plenty of times!) plus, the best bit, it’s waterproof! The PlaySport can go 3m deep, making it perfect for your water based summertime adventures!
