Nicola Roberts Pulls Off A Colour Block Look

Move over Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts is the Girls Aloud member who’s starting to set trends.

In the past Nicola’s often been unkindly referred to as the least attractive member of Girl’s Aloud, but these days she has become a new style icon.

Not many people can get away with red hair, red nails, a pink corset and purple heels but Nicola, who is launching a new solo career, sure does.

The fashionable popstar took to the stage at Hanley Park in Stoke on Trent, at the weekend in her on trend colour blocking outfit.

Colour blocking is difficult to pull off, especially if you’re naturally pale like Nicola, but the Girls Aloud singer shows it can work for every skin tone.

As long as each piece item of clothing fits you well, the colour will highlight how well the clothes hug your shape so you look leaner and slimmer as well as bright and fresh.

Heels will help give you attitude, which is something Ms Roberts has to the max. Her solo music career has really taken off with her new single Beat of My Drum receiving rave reviews on its first listen by many industry execs.

Very can exclusively reveal the new album, Cinderella’s Eyes, which is due to be launched later on in the year has all the upbeat dance nature of Beat of My Drum and is almost certainly headed for the top 5 if not number 1.

In addition to this, Nicola has released her own make up range  Dainty Doll for porcelain skin-tones and her message is clearly one of embracing what you have and working with it.
