Holly Valance Is Strictly Stylish At Pride Of Britain

Ex Neighbours star Holly Valance is one of the hot favourites to win Strictly Come Dancing and by the looks of things she’s already dressing for success.

Well, she certainly caught our eyes when she turned up to the Pride of Britain awards in a colourful printed maxi dress.

It’s bright but Holly manages to wear it without appearing brashy due to the long kimono like sleeves and floaty material which appears almost Princess like. If the strictly judges awarded points for fashion, pretty Holly deserves 10 out of 10.

After briefly enjoying a solo music career, the Australian star appeared in CSI and Prison Break but hasn’t been in the public eye much since 2006.

Fortunately Very can now exclusively reveal she’s back in a big way. Currently engaged to British businessman Nick Candy, the 28-year old is desperately trying to win the ballroom dancing show with dance partner Artem Chigvintsev so more career doors open to her.

She’s keen to do musical theatre or TV work, following in the footsteps of previously successful Strictly contestants Kara Tointon and Alesha

And knowing how to dance would also help for her wedding.  Wonder if Artem is giving her fiancé Nick lessons too?

Holly’s main rival on Strictly is The One Show presenter Alex Jones, but if she puts as much effort into her dancing as she does in her dressing then it will be a fierce battle. Bring on the sequins, tantrums and tiaras!

Hopefully we’ll get a chance to see more of Holly out and about before the show ends as it’s given us new ideas about what to wear. A similarly bright dress to the one Holly wore is the South feather print maxi dress

We love the way she covers her arms to keep the look classy rather than brashy. One way of achieving that is  with the Love Label fringed kimono jacket, which is now in the sale at £26 instead of £45

It works well with a simple but stylish maxi dress like the South mesh insert maxi dress

Or if you fancy a printed party dress that you’re going to dance in the Miss Sixty one shoulder print dress is perfect

Holly accessorised with a cute clutch bag. Check out the Fiorelli Monet corsage clutch, which is embellished with flowers to complement the dress

And then keep with the Strictly sequin theme with the new Love Label Charlotte glitter court shoes

Stay tuned to Strictly on Saturday nights on BBC One to see how Miss Valance does. Good luck, Holls!
