How To Get Adele’s Makeup Look

Adele’s make-up look is absolutely gorgeous and so classic!  She has found a look that works for her and her skin’s so flawless and creamy.

If you want to achieve this look, start by creating a flawless base.  Try using Daniel Sandler Waterbase Foundation with Concealer.  When applied using his special Daniel Sandler Base Brush the results are amazing.

Start at the centre of the face and blend outwards.  In the lid of the foundation, Daniel has created an amazing matching concealer used to banish dark circles and spots.

Next, set the foundation with Daniel Sandler Invisible Blotting Powder, it’s so invisible it takes away unwanted shine without looking like you have a cakey face!  Dust over the eyelids to remove any excess oil and help your eye shadow to glide on.

Next, shape and shade the eyebrows by using Eylure Shape, Shade and Brow Palette, it’s amazing as it even includes stencils to give you some help and has a shape that suits most.

I’ve chosen Barry M’s Trio Eyeshadow 1-Golden Goddess to achieve Adele’s eyes.  Start by applying the lighter shadow all over the lid to the brow bone.  Then contour the sockets with the middle golden shadow and add the bronzed shadow on the outer corner to add definition.

Line the eyes with a classic flick using Barry M Black Wink Marker Pen.  Start from the inner corner and gently extend to the outer corner, flick up and out gently because if you apply uneven pressure you’ll end up with a wobbly line.

Curl your lashes with Mister Mascara’s Lash Curlers then add lashings of mascara.  Check out Rimmel Double The Magic, it’s fantastic.

Adele loves lashes and so do I, it really adds extra glamour.  Try Eylure Naturalites strip lashes – evening wear 101 or Mister Mascara Full Lashes Kit.  Always cut the lashes to fit your eye there is nothing worse than giving the game away by having the lashes hanging off your eyes. You only need a small thin line of glue along the lash line.  Wait a few minutes then apply the lashes onto your natural lash line.  Once the lashes are dry apply another coat of mascara to blend the natural lashes together with the false set.

Then contour those cheek bones using Daniel Sandler’s Brazilian Bronze Powder, it’s so gorgeous and not orangey just gives you an amazing golden glow and suits nearly all skin tones.

And lastly, for your lips go for Barry M Lip Gloss Wand – Coral.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately we don’t ship to Nigeria but I can give you some makeup advice.

For oily skin, I would recommend a good retexturizing primer, under your regular foundation, or to be used alone over moisturiser. It is non greasy, and leaves a velvelty feel to the skin, and really helps make up to last. You could try a non-greasy / oil control foundation or a tinted moisturiser. To finish, I would recommend some invisible blotting power, it’s a translucent powder that absorbs oil and keeps shine away. It’s suitable for all skin tones as it has no colour to it. I’d recommend using a large brush to apply it rather than the pad, as it makes it more lightweight and then it doesn’t ‘cake’. This can be used over the primer, over moisturiser or over foundation.

Thanks x
