It’s got to the stage where we can count who’s left in Dancing On Ice on the fingers of one hand as ski-er Chemmy Alcott was voted out of the competition leaving four remaining. After a live performance from X Factor sweetie Marcus Collins, the mood got tense as Chemmy found herself in the bottom two with Chico, but the judges decided he was more entertaining – you can say that again! Chico’s comic dumb-bell routine had most of the audience smiling and he also had the last laugh as he was one of the few contestants to stay injury free in props week. Both Jorgie Porter and Matthew Wolfenden gave themselves nasty cuts and grazes in training. Read on for the behind the scenes news:
The Emmedale actor’s whip prop should have been sexy, but it had the opposite effect. During training he injured himself by hitting himself in his groin – multiple times. He tweeted about his injury during the week in response to someone that asked him if he was in pain, saying “Just a bit! It’s got a life of its own!!” Thankfully he also used a hoop prop, which looked a lot easier! Matt exclusely told us he’s looking forward to the Dancing On Ice Live Tour, starting in April. He’ll be joined by Heidi Range, Chico, Andy Whyment and 2011 winner Sam Attwater on a tour of the country, starting in Newcastle on 12 April.
The Hollyoaks actress is scarred by last week’s accident where she slashed her partner’s face with her blade. This week, she’s cut herself with her ribbon. She exclusively revealed: “I’m not feeling a pressure to win, I’m feeling a pressure to stay alive. That ribbon is a nightmare. I’ve had it wrapped round my feet, my knees, my neck. You get little ribbon cuts like paper cuts. They’re only small but they really sting.” And with Spring coming up, you don’t want to have cuts over your legs and arms in your summer dresses, right Jorgie?
She may have looked bright and breezy on the live Sunday night show but Very can exclusively reveal that poor Christine was suffering the effects of a long night out. The TV host attended a Didier Drogba Foundation ball with her fiancé Frank Lampard the night before. The glam ball at The Drchester Hotel, also attended by Estelle, Whitney Port, Wretch 32 and lots of other Chelsea Footballers was still going strong at 1am and Christine was due at Elstree studios the following morning. Thank goodness then for a gold sequin dress which brightened her complexion. Gold and light colours are great for making it look like you’re alert, even if you’d rather be in bed.
Jennifer Ellison, Jorgie Porter, Chico Slimani and Matthew Wolfenden are the four skaters left for the semi-final next weekend. Apparently there will be another Ultimate Skills challenge – be prepared for more drama!
