Exclusive Interview: Ashley Roberts At Die Hard Premiere

Bruce Willis may be the main man in the new Die Hard movie, but it was I’m A Celebrity star Ashley Roberts who brightened up the red carpet at the UK premiere in a lemon yellow dress. Bruce did not bother to stop to talk to fans or journalists outside the premiere and that meant he was booed. In contrast, Ashley made time for her fans and they loved her for it.

She showed she was really down to earth, just like how she appeared on the TV in the jungle, as she posed for photos and answered questions. Here’s a mini interview containing questions about skating, her love life and fashion:

QS: Did you know that Declan Donnelly fancied you when you were in the jungle?

ASHLEY: ‘I think everything happens for a reason and when my man comes along, he comes along. I’d like to get to know Dec better. It would be nice to go for a drink and a chat.”

QS: How do you cope with judge Jason Gardiner?

ASHLEY: ‘“It’s colourful and it’s fun. I think I’ve officially become the buffer — inbetween Jason Gardiner and Karen Barber. They fight and I’m in the middle.’

QS: Can you ice skate now?

ASHLEY: ‘I’m not on the ice everyday but it’s giving me that itch to get out there. I just see them out there performing and I’m like, ‘I want to get out there and do a performance’.

QS: Where has better shops – LA or London?

ASHLEY: ‘I shop wherever I can. So I might get a top in London and where it with American jeans and shoes I found in Europe. I love fashion.’

Ashley is a girl after our own hearts. She definitely made the premiere more fun and I can’t wait to see her on Dancing On Ice over the coming weeks.
