You can never beat a little black dress for a party, can you? There’s a black dress for every personality, whether you’re a pop star like Sarah Harding, a socialite diva like Tamara Ecclestone or a TV presenter like Denise Van Outen. It’s all about having a thorough look and then trusting your instincts (and asking a friend) about what suits you most.
Sarah Harding knows what works for her – a black dress with a mesh bottom – and she wore just that to the My Beautiful Skin Ball in London. Lace and mesh add a bit of a rock chic edge which is ideal for Sarah. She can party most men under the table! I’ve been admiring some black lace dresses at Very for a while, so it’s obviously on trend!
Meanwhile Tamara Ecclestone went for a black bodycon dress
Tamara is getting married soon and posed for photos with her ring finger on her hip. It contrasts nicely with the simple yet striking black dress, doesn’t it? Plus a bodycon dress is ideal if you have an hourglass shape and want to show off your curves.
The One Show presenter Alex Jones went for a more sporty looking dress. We’ve never really seen her in a full length maxi dress and we probably never will as she knows what suits her. A sleeveless knee-length dress shows off her fab figure without being OTT.
And finally, Denise Van Outen pulled out all the stops!
The TV star may not have gone for a little dress but she’s never been one to follow the crowd. If you want to make an imapct then a black maxi dress is ideal!
Which one did you prefer? I just can’t decide!
