Fearne Cotton truly brightened up the red carpet at The Glamour Woman Of The Year Awards. How amazing does the TV star and Very designer look since giving birth? The blue dress looks fabulous on her. Talk about yummy mummy. It was a sunny evening in London when the awards were taking place and the stars that went for colour really stood out from the celebrities that decided to wear black or white.
I’ve rounded up some of the highlights below with full length photos of the stars in all their party outfits so you can decide for yourself who looks the best. Here’s what went on at one of the most star-studded events of the year:
Fashion icon Victoria Beckham, looking chic in a black jumpsuit, won Woman Of The Decade and it was truly deserved. As she was presented by her trophy with Christopher Bailey from Burberry, she welled up and even thanked her mum, bless! Her son Brooklyn accompanied her on the red carpet and he definitely has David’s looks. He’s 15 now and I can tell he will be a heartbreaker!
Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevigne
Jourdan and Cara brought some model glamour to the evening. Jourdan wasn’t very chatty but Cara was the life and soul of the party. After she’d presented her friend Rita Ora with the Best Solo Artist award, Cara and Rita danced, mingled and left for an after-party together. It’s refreshing to see them letting their hair down and enjoying themselves rather than being all formal. Cara’s probably the least formal person you’ll ever meet – I was impressed by how she kept it simple in a t-shirt and black trousers in contrast to Jourdan’s black dress.
Rita Ora and Amanda Holden
Rita and Amanda both decided to lighten up for summer in pastel coloured maxi dresses. Amanda told us she seriously had ‘no idea’ about who would win the Britain’s Got Talent final this weekend, although she did smile when I suggested it might be Attraction, the shadow dancers. I know she loves them!
Does Kylie Minogue defy age? She was at the ceremony to present the Best Actress award to Rebel Wilson looking like a 20 something in her pastel pink dress…not a 40 something. She said her most glamorous woman role model was her mum. Bless!
Frankie from The Saturdays covered up her pregnancy bump in a black dress, which only served to show how bright the other girls were. When they first started five years ago, the girls always used to wear identical matching dresses, so it’s great to see them evolve and express their own style – from maxi dresses to v-neck short dresses, they all look fab.
The Original Sugababes
There have been many rumours the original Sugababe line-up of Siobhan, Mutya and Keisha (above) are reforming and then it went quiet so it was sooo cool to see them as a trio last night. You couldn’t miss them in their bold coloured dresses! I used to love them (especially Round, Round) but be warned – they’re still ‘working on’ new tracks. Hurry up, ladies!
