The London Lifestyle Awards celebrate the best restaurants, hair salons, nightclubs and people in the UK’s fabulous capital city and this year it was very special for me as I was nominated for London Personality Of The Year. This is me, posing for paparazzi at the start of the evening – I felt like a real superstar. I went for a maxi dress as I love an occasion to dress up!
In this category there were quite famous names like TV presenter David Gandy and actress Sheridan Smith so it was a surprise to be nominated. However, I was told I entertained London by writing about all the London based parties on my celebrity Lifestyle blog Live Like a VIP as well as suggesting where readers can go to buy clothes and beauty products to look as lovely as the celebrities. Well, I do try and being nominated made me feel like I was a winner even if I didn’t get to take home a trophy. I made the most of the night and got some outfit inspiration as the outfits people wore to this event were as individual as the people and venues nominated for the awards. The photo at the very top of the blog post shows my fave three party looks from the night – from left to right it’s Ashley James from Made In Chelsea, the pop girls Stooshe and Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Francine Lewis.
Here’s a closer look at their outfits:
Made In Chelsea star Ashley James (above) has a new job now filming has finished and the show’s on air. The Clothes Show is back on BBC and Ashley’s going to be a roving reporter. She’s leading the way in the style stakes in a chic Little Black Dress.
Francine Lewis, the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up wore a lovely black jumpsuit, showing you don’t always need a dress to look glam.
I also likes the bright red dress worn by Luisa Zissman, who was last year’s runner up on BBC business-reality TV show The Apprentice. She presented an award during the night, and that dress ensured she had everyone’s full attention.
Looking at all these fabulous dresses makes me excited for the Christmas party season. It’s not long now! Are you ready yet to #PartyInStyle?
