Pamela Anderson looked like a completely different woman as she jogged across the finish line in the NYC marathon. It wasn’t just the fact she was wearing sports clothes rather than party clothes nor her short hair but the fact she looked absolutely radiant. Normally she likes a pout but she was truly smiling.
I know how she was feeling as I also completed the 26.2 mile course and did it in 3 hours 36 minutes. Here’s me in a bar called Umami in Greenwich village after the run. My legs may have been tired, but I still squeezed into leather trousers for my celebratory night out. I definitely felt tired but I didn’t want to look tired.
Do you want to know how I celebrated? Food? I went for a cheeseburger and washed it down with a Pear Martini.
I’m in New York for a couple of days so I’m looking forward to checking out more bars and restaurants and parties. In advance of the race, I was so well behaved! I visited Central Park to check out the finish line. It was such a boost to see the Union Jack flag.
I did have a really good meal the night before the marathon in a tiny Italian restaurant, Bianca, on the cool Bleecker Street. Do you think the jacket looks familiar? It’s the Lovel Label PU embellished bomber jacket.
People are asking me if I would run another marathon and I think the answer is yes – I’m not ready to hang up my trainers just yet. Not until I shave 6 minutes off my time and get 3 hours 30!
