Festive Giltz and Glam All Year Round!

The last cracker’s been pulled, the last chocolate novelty’s been scavenged and now the decorations are down. If it’s anything like Very HQ, your home looks naked, bare and more than a little bit dull. But fear not! We’re here with a few top tips on how to keep your home looking glitzy all year round (without making you look like some kind of crazy Christmas addict)!

Wall Art

An eye-catching canvas is a sure-fire way to brighten up your room with minimum effort. This trio of butterfly canvases gives a splash of on-trend colour, while this luxurious peacock feather split canvas from Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen’s range gives instant glamour. Speaking of Laurence and glamour, you could keep the party season alive with his Calypso canvas which instructs you to let your hips do the flirting (which, let’s face it, you do anyway!).

Nothing screams glitz like metallics and they’re so easy to work into your home post-Christmas. Why not keep it simple and show off your photography skills (you must have some great snaps from New Year’s Eve!) with some shimmery photo frames in silver or gold? Or frame your books or DVDs with some cool mirrored bookends? If you fancy making a real metallic statement (and keep the festive spirit alive) try Laurence’s Winging It sculpture instead of keeping your tree-top angel out.

Look forward to Valentine’s!

Well it is the next big festivity on our calendars so put in some decorations for V-Day! These cute decorative ceramic balls look great in most rooms and they’re made up of sweet little love hearts (awwwwww!). Perfect all-year round but they’ll look extra fab in Feb. Oh, and they’re in the sale too!

So don’t let the glitz disappear for a whole year! Keep your home looking as amazing as keep yourself, without resorting to tinsel in June!
