With the holidays now in full swing, we imagine you mums are already in need of a break. While a trip to the Bahamas or Belize might be nice, why not escape to the peace and quiet of a home filled with occupied kids. Very’s Toy Town is open and we are bringing you promotions that are every bit as hot as the heat wave that’s headed our way.

Toy Town

We work with leading brands that bring you the toys we know your children love, stocking everything from Twister to Teksta, and Barbie to Boom Co. We have summertime solutions to help you get inspired, so now you can shop by activity. Our extensive range of toys and games will keep your babies busy.

Heard all about the latest craze for loom bands? We have the cra-z-e-art cra-z-loom band bracelet maker for just £15. With over 600 mixed colour bands, why not stretch yours and your kid’s imagination with hours of trendy bracelet making fun. For the more adventurous among you, we recommend connecting multiple rubber band loops to make a fashionable belt that will look great with their jeans or denim shorts!

Outdoor toys

For the more outdoorsy child, we have a range of outdoor toys with savings of up to 10% across leading brands such as plum. Our favourite is the Little Tikes 4 in 1 trike, now only £52.  From guided play at 9 months to independent at 30 months, this Toy will really last the test of time, (much like the brand who also bring you the infamous and ever on trend Cozy Coupe.)

And, for savings of up to 25% off, why not shop our on the move range, sponsored by Boom Co., bringing you toys to keep your favourite little trooper entertained. Shop the range now for toys that cost as little as £7.50, like the Boom Co Farshot blaster.   It couldn’t come more highly recommended for the child powered by the need to break loose and play on the edge.

PLUS, as if all that wasn’t enough, we at Very at giving one lucky reader the chance to win a toy bundle worth over £500. We have got together with our Very favourite brands, including Character Options, Mattel and Hasbro to ensure you have the ultimate summertime survival pack. With toys for every kind of play, it really will feel like you’ve escaped the madness, and the look on their faces will be priceless.

When my parents used to buy boxes or tins of sweets, I used to eat some and then carefully wrap the sweet wrapper back up to make it look like nothing has been eaten. When it came to my parents eating them they would pick up a sweet but its just the wrapper, they wasn’t best pleased.

I have always loved music, right from nursery rhymes to kylie and Jason. So my parents bought my every walkman system available cassettes to cds. Buti just couldn’t help it. I sang along very badly and very loudly. It used to drive my dad especially, absolutely crazy, what could be worse than listening to especially for you – listening to your 10 year old daughter screech it acapella

As a child, if I wanted a new toy but didn’t have enough pocket money saved up, I would advertise my old toys, books etc for sale in the local paper. But I wouldn’t tell my mum, then a few days later she would get calls from people about my ads while I was at school. I think it used to rather annoy mum… but I got my new toys.
