Celeb Style Steal: Millie Mackintosh Wears Own Collection Dress

Millie Mackintosh was always one of the most fashionable characters in Made In Chelsea, she’s one of FHM magazine’s ‘Sexiest Women’ and she has a hot chart-topping musician for a husband. I’ve always envied her life but while it’s not exactly realistic she’ll want to life-swap with me, I can tell you that she’s now making her fashion accessible to us all by launching a new clothing range.

Millie has a classic style mixing rock chick leather and fitted trousers and big coats with classic little black dresses and dresses that are tailored to a woman’s figure. She wants to show she’s feminine but also that she’s fierce and confident. Her clothes will add confidence to any woman though, as they’re so flattering once you try it on it’ll make you lift your head a little bit higher. Just like the dress from her own collection – the Millie Macintosh dipped hem scuba bandeau dress  – that she wore to the Cosmo FashFest finale in London’s Battersea evoulution.

The colour and shape of Millie’s dress means it would suit anything from a black tie ball to a nightclub, depending on what accessories its matched with. As the FashFest was a glamorous occasion, she stuck to elegant black accessories, just like the Ted Baker enamel detail clutch bag and Shoebox Isabella minimal ankle strapped heel sandals.

I love it when a celebrity wears an outfit from their own collection as it shows they’re proud of what they’ve created. I’d totally wear something like this too as you can make it look different with different accessories which means you can get a lot of use out of it. What do you think?
