#verypartyedit Razzle Dazzle

This party season there’s no such thing as too much bling – we’re talking sparkle, sequins, unexpected brights and a whole lot of colour love.  These are my favourite picks from the Razzle Dazzle trend , it’s time to start dreaming of a ‘bright Christmas’!

Be your very own disco ball with this gold dress from xxxxxxxxx, the dress makes enough of an impact without overloading the accessories, just put your hair into some model-eque soft waves, add a coral lip and some black killer heels. The body con shape is perfect for enhancing your best bits, especially if you’re blessed with a curvy bust.

Some classic looks get a serious revamp here – the jumpsuit is a little bit studio 54 with the shoulder detail and the black keeps it looking sleek and if you fancy a bold punch of colour you can’t beat a two piece short suit as a cuter-than-cute dress alternative, very Taylor Swift.  Pick out some statement jewels and add a clutch – party perfection.

Never considered brights for your works do? These dresses are guaranteed to make you stand out in a sea of LBD’s,  I love the richness of the red animal print dress – still festive looking but with twist, it’s a shape that’s going to suit everyone with its cinched in waist.  Mix the yellow   dress back with black accessories to stop it looking too summery (but it’s definitely a piece you can re-work when the sun comes back out to play!).

When you’re planning your party look you can’t forget about the cover-up – you want to look just as good when you’re shivering in the taxi queue after all!  I love this combination of emerald green (click here for more green pieces)  and citrus yellow and the sequins are so on trend for this party season.  Keep the shoes neutral so the look doesn’t get too matchy-match.

My final pick is this outfit – yes, it’s black but the little metallic jacket over the top gives it an AW14 twist.  The look is so cute, a little bit tomboy, and also a bit of a french influence going on.  Keep make-up fresh and natural and add some strappy shoes.
