London Fashion Week: Front Row Trends

London Fashion Week is well underway and this season has really drawn out the celebrities. It’s been amazing to see each front row packed with stars who love fashion as much as me!   It also seems to be more creative than previous season’s as there’s not one stand out trend. In different shows we’ve seen sports luxe, in others there’s been an explosion of eye-popping colours and in others there’s been fur.

As there’s no one dominant trend, it allows me to feel free to experiment until I find something that suits me most. These are some of the things I’ll be trying

Coloured knitwear (inspired by the Emilia Wickstead Front Row)

Alice Dellal, Yasmin and Amber Le Bon, Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung all wore eye-popping jumpers. This was one of the most colourful front rows and I think its good to show that you can look fashionable even when it’s cold outside.

Feminine and girly party dresses (inspired by the Julien Macdonald front row)

Rochelle Humes and Millie Mackintosh looked super glam to watch Julien Macdonald. Both are wearing a hint of gold in their party dresses, which really compliments their skin tone.

Creams and neutral shades (inspired by Julien Macdonald)

Michelle looked lovely in a cream dress – its nice to see her stepping away from the black.

Julien Macdonald

Julien Macdonald is back to his spectacular best. If you want a party dress this season then look for lace embellishments. Also berry is a popular colour.

White sports luxe inspired by Laura Whitmore’s arrival at Jasper Conran

Laura Whitmore looked uber fashionable in sportswear. The no make-up look suits her and she seems comfortable with this layered look.

Faux fur inspired by Whitney Port

The American reality TV star looked warm and snug in her faux fur coat and it really helped her make an entrance. It’s not often something so wintery can be so fashionable.

Fauc fur by Alexa Chung at Henry Holland

Alexa Chung also looked glamorous in faux fur. It’s amazing how a fur can transform a classic black outfit into something that looks like you’ve worked hard to create an outfit.

Berry inspired by British Fashion Council arrivals

Samantha Faiers worked berry lipstick with a berry midi dress walking around the British Fashion Council space in Somerset House. It’s a strong look.

I’ll be back later in the week with another report based on what I’ve seen on the catwalks throughout London Fashion Week. I’m sure there may even be a few more celeb looks in that blog post too. But whats your fave celeb outfit so far?
