Mother’s Day is coming up soon (15 March) but the celebrities do everything first! A bunch of famous faces celebrated the Tesco Mum of The Year awards in London on 1 March, honouring real and famous mothers. Some stars brought their mums and others, who are mums themselves, made the most of the chance to get out and dress up.
This was the first time in a while that I’ve seen so much colour on the red carpet. At recent events, even at The Brits, there’s been a lot of black outfits worn by celebrities so I’m happy that it’s finally brightening up. Maybe it shows Spring is coming? Here’s a look at the best of the best:
Fearne, who has just announced she’s pregnant with her second child, covered up her baby bump in a pretty floral dress. I loved how the Very designer mixed a super feminine yellow day dress, which looks almost vintage, with edgy blue buckle shoes. There are some amazing shoes in Fearne’s collection right now.
Kimberley looked stunning in silver in a midi length dress that showed off her tiny waist. If you’ve got an hourglass figure like hers, it’s essential to make the most of it.
Sarah Jane Crawford
The Liberty X singer turned reality TV star kept it simple in a blue bodycon dress. There’s nothing fancy about it but she knows it fits her figure.
Ok, so there was some black in the mix. Sarah Harding looked chic and elegant in a black midi dress. I think it suits her.
Actress Jennifer Metcalfe looked like she was going to a glam party in her strapless black dress, which I thought was quite cute. Motherhood should be a celebration!
Who do you think looked the best? Now are you ready to put some more colour in your wardrobe?
