Exciting news – London Fashion Week is just one week away! This year it will all take place in a converted car park in Soho in the centre of London from 18-22 September. Every year, the outfits get more outrageous and more and more celebrities turn out to sit in the Front Row (FROW) as it’s all about getting seen and seeing what everyone else is wearing.
I had my eyes peeled back in February at the Autumn/Winter 2015 shows to see what the celebs were wearing at the show space at Somerset House, and some interesting trends started to come through. Having a look back at some of my pics from the FROWs, it’s clearer to see:
Black Fringing and Embellishment
If Kate Moss wears something, you can tell it will be a trend and Kate, the original boho babe, looks fab in her cape with fringe detail. In Autumn / Winter we can expect trims and fringes on everything from dresses to boots and it can be full on, or just subtle. Salma Hayek had a subtle bow on her waist, looking cute but still on trend.
Beige and Neutral Coats / Capes
Kendall Jenner has great style, taking the classic Kardashian dressed up chic and adding a fashion twist. I really liked her beige coat, which she wore over her shoulders fashionista style. Michelle Wright did the same with her neutral coloured wool coat, which she wore with a beige dress and Paloma Faith also went for different shades of neutrals and beige. I loved her mac!
You can’t argue with Naomi Campbell. She’s fierce anyway and in this fur jacket she looks incredible. Talk about power dressing. Millie Mackintosh also looked pretty with a soft fur coat that everyone wanted to stroke!
Clashing Prints and Animal Print
Nothing cheers me up like something bright, especially when it’s dull weather in the Autum and Winter. Pixie Geldof took bright to new levels as she matched red trousers with a blue jacquard top and added a leopard print coat over the top. Alexa Chung did a similar thing, but hers will take us from day to night too.
Colour Blocks On Sports Luxe
Paloma Faith and Pixie Lott looked like they were really enjoying wearing these sportswear outfits as they’re super comfy. And when the weather’s rubbish, you just want something that’s nice against your skin and is easy to move in. The colours keep it looking like we’ve made an effort.
