Film Premiere Fashion: Miss You Already Stars Shine Brightly

If there’s one thing I love as much as a film premiere, it’s a film about strong women and so I was excited to go to the premiere of Miss You Already as it covered two of my favourite things. The film is about how two women’s childhood friendship changes as one discovers she is pregnant while the other receives tragic news and it’s about how they support each other and how their friendship evolves.

I was hoping this meant some strong, fabulous females would turn out on the red carpet to watch the film and I wasn’t disappointed as Paloma Faith looked gorgeous in a red lace dress. She’s strawberry blonde and she’s wearing red and she pulls it off because she’s loud and proud. Love it!

Also looking divine in a red mini dress was Emmerdale’s Natalie Anderson. She’s a feisty character in Emmerdale and she’s not afraid to dress up and show off what she’s got. No shrinking violets allowed – the night was all about bold ladies.

Even Loose Women star Andrea McLean went for a bright change to her usual look of serious suits. The blue bodycon dress suits her, I think. Notice her smile? Wearing something bright does make you feel more cheerful when you look in the mirror.

Toni Collete, who is the film’s co-star alongside Drew, dazzled in a green evening dress. I loved the gold accessories and gold heels – green and gold go together so well. She had an emotional journey in the film, so she must be glad she can dress up and put the tough storyline behind her

And as for the film’s other star, Drew Barrymore, she went for old school Hollywood glamour with wavy hair and what looked like a black maxi dress. Actually, it was a black jumpsuit, which was very cool – you can never expect Drew to be conventional.

The film is out on 25 September and I highly recommend watching it, but you will need a box of tissues!

Who do you think looked best at the premiere?
