New Waves- Hair how-to

Forget poker-straight locks, it’s all about creating curls and texture this summer..

Take your holiday hair to hot new levels! Ditch your trusty salt spray this season, as the trend for S/S16 is hydrated, healthy and undone. Surf-girl ’dos are fresh and brushed through, relaxed waves have gone catwalk sleek and glam go-tos have been given a modern makeover. Here, ghd show you how to recreate the first of three swishing looks with straighteners…

Beach Waves- Pure shore texture that takes you straight to cocktail hour!

Apply root-lift spray and brush it through, then blow-dry in twisted sections using your fingers to add texture.

After a spritz of holding spray, take a small section of hair and place the styler roughly at your eye line.

Twist your straighteners 180 degrees, then pull through to the ends to create soft waves.

Once all your hair is curled, plait the top sections and then run your ghds over each braid.

Gently pull apart, brush through and your beautiful beach waves will blend into one sultry style.
